Great people, within an hour car ride you have world class diving, surfing, caves, waterfalls and a lot of other stuff.

Owners were very helpful and fixed a lot of stuff that would be expensive for me as a guest to do on my own. Everything from lending out their personal stuff to drive me here and there and sharing their stories in a personal way. They were my personal guides. Even invited me to dinner with their family.

The road to the property is a little bit bumpy.

Resan dit är hemsk. Sista biten får man balansera över en rutten hängbro. Hela området är en soptipp. Väl framme är rummet betydligt mindre än det som uppgivit. Inte heller havsutsikt eller utemöbler finns (som det stod när man bokar). AC kostar 1000 PHP extra för 24 timmar. Stranden är skitig. Ägaren är extremt otrevlig. Vi hade bokat 4 nätter men flydde efter första natten. Inga pengar tillbaka.

Never again

The owner threatened me and now claims after I wanted a refund for false advertising with a bath tub (even he doesn’t have one) and also claims that I did some damage I didn’t feel save And he seemed like he was very drunk when he threatened me

We were very disappointed and did not consume the two days booking. We only stayed one day.

I like the beach. It is indeed a beachfront property

We did not expect that it was too far from the center. That we needed to pass through a hanging bridge and we needed to walk going to the place. The celfone number posted in the their site is not accessible. They should have contacted us since they know that their place was very far. The food was very expensive considering the amount of serving the compared to other restaurants in the center. But we have no choice as there was no other available restaurants in the area.

lovely stay on a gorgeous beach

lovely staff, beautiful view right on a gorgeous beach. Free coffee every morning in the communal area where you can take it the gorgeous surroundings. A comfy bed, clean rooms with lots of space. Very quiet at night so we got a good nights sleep!

Lots of ants get in through the floor but to expected for a beach property. It’s an eco property so the shower is cold but can be refreshing after a sunny day!

10/10 would recommend

i liked everything. the staff was the nicest people i ve ever met. the beach is literally 3 m away. most delicious veggie curry i have ever ate. the owner asked if everything was okay every night making sure our staying is the best. we even got a famous filipino fruit salad from the wife what she made herself. room and bathroom was clean and theres an out door shower so you dont have to go in your room sandy after swimming. there were books to read, cards to play, free drinking water. the wifi is not the best due to lack of signal in the Philippines overall but this only gave us more time to connect, to relax and to enjoy the sea. literally the best place i ve ever stayed. relaxing and quiet.

Very Kind staff and owners. Good and delicious food.

Very hot in the rooms. Not a see view - it is the noisy corridor view. Too small and too noisy room. You can't sleep normal from noise of the restaurant, passing of the people trow the corridor and especially when they start a generator for electricity. It is near to the rooms. No hot water in the property. No cleaning of the room. Too difficult to reach the house. Can't reach it by motorbike. Stop motorbike before wooden bridge go through it and then 15 minutes walking to the property.

nice and peaceful place

good place to stay, out of the busy center! close to the best beaches ( Nacpan and Duli ) not far from waterfalls! got a restaurant with good food and very friendly staff room very basic

no hot shower, bathroom could be better ( flooded after shower ) not very easy to access, just be ready for the bridge crossing and small walk across the village to get there if you can’t call or text them to come to pick you up

Superb

When you do love waking up directly with the ocean vibes, this is the perfect place for you. Amazing staff, delicious food, clean room and bathroom! We stayed with 2 little kids so the space in th room was enough as we spend all days outside anyway. The way is a bit adventure but all around are kind locals who will help you and also all around are signs with direction.

It’s a beach front with really friendly staff and great hospitality. The food was really good. They have parking for your scooter.

I think at one point at night there was a black out and exhaust fumes from the generator was coming to my room . The guest house keep the beach clean in front of them but the rest of the beach has a lot of garbage.

Unique oasis

Your own private Oasis. The food was yummy, it was a very relaxed and a unique experience. We loved our stay because it was so laidback and the beach was beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We extended our stay because we enjoyed it so much.

The power went out occasionally and the beds weren't super comfortable. I think this is understandable as it is a bit remote.

A lovely stay in a lovely place

The hosts - you feel like ar a friend's house, and this resonates withinthe other guest. The place - a wild quiet clean beach, with Fishermen and rice fields villages nearby. You feel in the middle of the locals without the annoyance. From there nice exploration with the scooter Good food and drinks

Don't be discouraged on the road(s) to get there, and better ask Joyce (and not google...) which one to take ;) Then it's fun and no problem (with a scooter)

Chilled out spot right on the beach

Very friendly and welcoming staff and owners. We stayed over Christmas week and what a great, chilled out place to be. It's basic accommodation, with cold water only showers which we don't mind at all, after the initial shock it's always very refreshing! The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The food very reasonably priced and a lot of options for meat and seafoods eaters and a few options for veggies. I had a horrible cold throughout our stay and lost my appetite but they looked after me with some nice plain toast which was great. They can help you arrange a tricycle from El Nido town to get there or you can get one yourself, it takes about 45 mins from where the van stops by El Nido Town. You do have to walk over a wobbly suspension bridge but it's fun and all part of the adventure. They will offer to meet you when you arrive to bring you to the accommodation which is fab. They can also help you arrange a tricycle back to town when you leave and can deliver you back to the bridge with their own tricycle. That's service! They also have a scooter you can rent to go exploring.

Like everywhere in the Philippines there are cockerels. Unfortunately the weather was quite stormy while we were there so there was quite a bit of plastic and broken glass on the beach. The surrounding town is full of very friendly people and lively kids but it's quite dirty (lots of piles of plastic). Just things to be aware of, they bear no reflection on the guesthouse itself.

The beachfront is amazing to wake up to. The food is good and very reasonably priced. The owner is lovely. The bathrooms are so clean you could eat off the floor.

It is far and trikes are expensive to get here.

Amazing accommodation in an amazing paradise !!!

Amazing people in an amazing paradise ! You will NOT be disappointed, this is the kind of place you want while visiting Bucana beach. The owners as well as the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, I was treated like family! We loved everything about this place. More than enough space on site, everything was clean and very well maintained. It was so relaxing, complete serenity. The food that is served at the restaurant on site is five star, with so much to choose from on the menu. Compliments to an utmost amazing chef and her committed team ! For the quality of everything you get here, the cost is incomparable. The property is located right on the beach - and this beach itself is an incredible paradise. As if it couldn't get any better, there are many things to see, do and explore in the area around Bucana. This place is the true gem of Bucana Beach, and I would come back here in a heartbeat. Thank you to the owners for everything !

Hospitality and sincerity are very important. Here we celebrated an unforgettable New Year with delicious food served to us by the guest house owner. We were taken to the next hotel, which was actually very far away. Thank about all!

Best Place to relax

I like the owner of this place their so nice they always to make sure we're good and chat to us give us information about here in Palawan. Their foods so yummy and cheap, room so clean and all entire place. The beach is beautiful also in the ocean they don't have stones.

They have Sandflies, on need put coconut oil against the sandflies.
