We got off the queen Mary on August 25th and needed a place to stay for the 11 nights before we return on the Queen Mary 2. After agonizing over several locations, we finally picked Cheltenham and the apartment at 6 Lypiat terrace and it proved to be an excellent choice.
The flat itself was extremely comfortable and safe, nice temperature inside with the windows open and the landlady graciously put the two twin beds together to form a king and we slept so well. The kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed and suitably met our basic needs. We love the big screen TV and with our Roku stick we were able to watch our favorite shows.
What really made this stay exceptional was the town of Cheltenham. It is an extremely nice friendly small city. We bought a bus pass from stagecoach and were able to ride the bus to and from the train station every day as we took day trips every day for the 11 days. We often dined in Cheltenham in the evening and absolutely loved the chip shed which had great fish and chips just a few feet from the flat. The walk to the bus stop was about 5 minutes and we were able to ride the bus to the large grocery stores, car rental etc. Shout out to the train station in town it was a great place to start everyday and to return to everyday. We loved our holiday in Cheltenham and our stay at this lovely flat.

Very spacious and clean. Great central location, easy to reach everywhere in the town.
The wi-fi didn’t seem to work but we had 4G so not really a problem.
