Trout fish; tube or raft the Kiewa Valley River; golf, visit marvellous vineyards and friendly wineries throughout the region enjoying exquisite food. Walk among the wildflowers; take a glider ride; go on horseback; bring a bike or hire one. SKIING and all the snow sports are a 32 minute drive at Falls Creek or go on to Mt Hotham. Inviting 4 bed room, 4 bathroom cedar & Cypress, Alpine style accomodation. Arrange yourselves around the fire, play chess, scrabble or cribbage in the games room, grab a book from the extensive library or watch TV, plug into one of the two brand new flat screens or chat in the open plan living area downstairs. At night, from your upstairs beds, watch the frequent shooting stars from the dormer windows high above you. In the garden, help yourself from grapefruit, mandarin, apple and lemon trees. From every room in the house, cast your eyes up from mellow grazing cattle across a sleepy valley to the sweeping mountains - snow-capped in winter, pure, white puff-clouded in summer and the air!!! Spacious and charming property on an exceptional location. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of bathrooms. Kids loved the pool and adults were mesmerised by the mountain views from the front. Memorable stay!

Perfect Alps getaway house. Went for a snow weekend, ended up having a summer one. Even though no snow, we had a blast. Fantastic house with a pool! Excellent communication from Dave. Keen to stay again!

Ver comfortable spacious house with good outdoor and indoor spaces. Well equipped with cooling and heating. The pool is a great draw card too. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend.

Gordon’s Grandview was in a great location, great views and the pool was fabulous. Also great for each couple to have access to their own bathroom. We did local walks, ate at local cafes and the brewery. The guys enjoyed a game of golf at the Mt Beauty course. The house is byo linen and could use a good dust but was a great base for our mountain getaway.

Beautiful property that was just like a chalet from the European ski fields. The wood fire was amazing and having a bathroom in each room was great especially for teenagers not having to share and have their own space.

Great family group home with beautiful views across the Kiewa Valley near Mt Beauty. Close to Falls Creek ski fields. Everything you need with plenty of beds. Owner very helpful and prompt to reply.

Great location for easy drive to Falls Creek for skiing. The house set up was fantastic for us - a group of 10, especially with 4 bathrooms. Warm, cosy, with everything we needed.

We had a fantastic stay at Gordon’s Grandview. The house is great with loads of space and multiples bathrooms. Well appointed kitchen and dining room. The drive up to falls creek didn’t take too long and was a nice way to start and finish the day. Would definitely stay again.

All in all a lovely holiday in this quaint cottage. The home & kitchen were well stocked except we were unable to find coffee pods at the store for the coffee machine due to it being an Aldi brand. A big negative was the fact that we had to bring our own bed sheets and pillow cases. Otherwise a great little place to stay in Mt Beauty.

This is a great house for a large group. The kids loved the pool, local bushwalking and cafes in Mt Beauty makes it a great place for a break. Thank you, David fir being a friendly and responsive host. We hope to be back!

We spent a great long weekend at Gordon’s Grandview, the house was perfect for two families with room to spare. The pool was great to splash around in and the perfect temperature. We loved having our meals on the deck admiring the view. A few cobwebs around but overall the place was clean and we would definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay at Gordon's Grandview. The house is cosy and comfortable and perfect for more than one family as every bedroom has its own bathroom. We didn't both going out for dinner as we enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped kitchen and sitting around the table in front of the fireplace. Unfortunately our ski trip was cut short due to Covid and David very kindly refunded the last two nights as we had to leave early. He was great to deal with and I would highly recommend this property.

We keep coming back, so David must be doing a lot right. A couple of suggestions - a shaded area by the pool would be great as would some lights for those late night swims. Also, where is the elusive light switch for the pendant light hanging over the table in the kitchen?
