The Mandragole is a small Bed and breakfast in Roncade, just 35 minutes by car from Venice. The property is beautifully kept, with green grounds, 3 bedrooms, a common area with a television, several bookshelves and a kitchen. Everything is decorated with taste and detail, exceptionally clean and organised.
We kept in contact with the owners from arrival to departure. They were always available and kind.
We arrived at Venice airport quite late, and the owners were kind enough to wait to welcome us and give all the necessary information. Even though the kitchen is not for guest use, we could bring food and enjoy it in the dining area.
The room was quite big for 2 adults and a baby. There was a crib available. The room was spotless and comfortable.
For breakfast, the owners offered a wide selection of vegan options, including croissants, tarts, and cake. Everything was delicious.
Our baby had a difficult night due to teething, but everybody was attentive and understanding. We deeply thank them for understanding.
The area is quite beautiful and worth visiting.

Giovanna and Federico were wonderful hosts — welcoming, knowledgeable, and always available whenever we needed anything. Breakfast was a real highlight, with an ample spread including delicious homemade tarts and cakes. We also loved using the bicycles they made available to explore the small towns nearby and get a real feel for the local area. The accommodation itself was of the highest quality, with all the necessities you could need — air conditioning, ample lighting, and a beautiful, modern bathroom fully equipped with every amenity. We felt right at home and would definitely stay again!
