Three of us stayed 2 weeks at 'On the Bay' we really liked the location the east and north sides of the island are much more relaxed than the west end (George Town). This unit is as advertised, we were very confortable in this well appointed unit. We loved the terrace/balcony with the view of the grounds and the ocean. The unit was clean and the grounds are well maintained. As mentionned in other reviews there are a couple of , not the fanciest, but really good restaurants within walking distance: The Caboosse and Island Bites. The Crystal Caves are also within walking distance of the condo. For the rest you will need a car to get around. If and when we return to Grand Cayman we will definetly want to come back here!

Just got back from a week in Grand Cayman; our family of four had a wonderful time. Ernie & Virginias place is beautiful and has all the amenities you need. It was great with two teenagers to have their own room, much better than staying in a hotel. The kids were able to snorkel in the lagoon and enjoyed that. It was rare that anyone else with at the pool with us. We were in close proximity to many restaurants, Tukka was our favorite. My husband also really like Czech Inn! We were close to Rum Point and took a boat ride to Stingray City and snorkeling. We had planned on doing a sunset cruise, but unfortunately the day we planned was not a great weather day. We were glad we hadnt booked the cruise prior to that day because I dont believe you get your money back if you cancel, they just give you another day. All in all we had a great time!
