The evening meal was excellent and great value. The conservatory was a beautiful venue for the meal and staff were really helpful. The breakfast was served in the bar and was good but by the time we arrived (around 8.30am) there were shortages on the buffet tables. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and our annexe room was ideal for a short stay break. Everything was very clean in the room and quiet despite the hotel being busy. We had a dog with us and all staff were very welcoming to her. There was a dog rug, water bowl and dog biscuits in the room when we arrived, which was very nice.
It would have been nice to have had the breakfast in the conservatory and the buffet to have had a greater choice of options to choose from.

Lovely staff and location. The bar and evening meal were wonderful
Bathroom smelt of damp and could have done with being upgraded. Breakfast was very disappointing. Not sure if it’s because there was a coach tour, but not a great selection of hot food and the coffee was absolutely horrific
