We enjoyed the setting and grounds of the country house; the lounge entrance was homely and inviting. Decor had a touch of luxury. We stayed in 2 different rooms; both had decor to suit the old charm, lovely small extras such as whiskey, homemade shortbread gave it a special welcome. Beds were comfortable and bathroom products of high standard.
Service was brilliant from entering to leaving. Compliments to a very professional team.
The evening meal was excellent, lots of extras to make it quite the dining experience. There was a good choice for breakfast which was ordered the night before; this is served efficiently.
We had to move rooms due to noise but this was handled exceptionally well. Just some minor details; The charging socket in the bathroom was too high for a toothbrush charger.

Our room was exceptionally comfortable, best place to wait out a hurricane. The breakfast was delicious and I appreciated all the luxurious small touches like the fudge, the bathroom accessories and the ability to choose breakfast the day before.
There was nothing that we didn’t like.
