Staff and food were excellent. Breakfast and breakfast service superb.
Had to change rooms but well handled. Delay in service at dinner was far too long. Appreciate how busy restaurant was and staff worked their socks off, however, we had booked and were staying whilst others were just walk-ins.

We got what we paid for, it is a sweet english country side pub. The rooms are upstairs above the bar and restaurant but you can't hear the noise from below. The standard double was small but ok for one night. Small tea station provided. We didn't eat from the restaurant due to tight funds but menu looked good. It was a perfect one night stop to visit Stratford the next day.
There seemed to be a smell of stale smoke in the corridor, I don't know if another guest was smoking somewhere inside or it comes through a window from outside but it was incredibly strong and noticeable.
