Overall I enjoyed my stay and thought it was good value. Friendly staff, great price including the breakfast.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in my room emitted a whistling sound. It did not disturb my sleep, but I thought I should mention it. During breakfast I needed the toilet; I cannot describe the condition a guest had left in one of the two cubicles. Some people might consider the required £100 room deposit problematic. Since you can apply that amount to your stay, I had a few drinks at the cashless bar, and the difference is automatically credited back I assume a few days later. It was not a concern for me, though I heard one guest complain about it. Furthermore, it was not disclosed until I had booked and received my confirmation email.
