There’s no way to sum up the stress caused by bringing a group to a hotel in Africa that advertises paying at the hotel

The property was clean. The a/c was comfortable.

I brought a group of 11. Booking.com app said that we pay at hotel. I used my cc to hold the rooms. When I arrived - they said their cc machine didn’t work and only took cash. My group were all volunteers on a Pediatric Cardiology Surgery Team that had paid all their expenses in getting there and. came to give free cardiac surgery to the children of Tanzania. No one had extra cash - just credit cards . This was a problem. Only because we had a Tanzanian National with us were we able to get the cash needed.

No visa payments. Bathroom was up to standard.

Room was clean

Room was congested. Card machine did not accept visa card. Lady at reception was not friendly and the location is in the middle of the market - lots of noise and music even after midnight

My 76 year old mother flew over to meet family in zanzibar. I had hotel cofirm they would collect her 10 days before flight. On the day she was arriving my sister emailed and phoned to reconfirm. My mother arrived at 3am in Dar to no one waiting for her. Extremely disappointed

No breakfast despite the promise of it. Not on time. Double booked. No discount or compensation for the inconvenience.

they had double booked me, drove me to another hotel instead - zimbo hotel (same branch) walls were thin, could hear both the music in the corridor, room neighbours and the noise from outside. There is a place to eat but they seem not to have a kitchen, they call and order things from outside. If I knew before I’d just gone out for dinner instead. the building didn’t seem to be finished, the bathroom door was missing handle. breakfast was supposed to be at 6 but nothing was there. I had to leave for my bus at 7.10 but still at 7.20 I got no breakfast and had to leave to catch my bus. Had to run since their promise of bringing me breakfast made me delay. though the staff was friendly. Just nothing worked as I would expect it to and I paid for things I didn’t get.

Pleasant

We wanted to stay very close to the airport, because of a next flight. Location very good, rooms ok. Very friendly staff!

Okay for one night

Modern hotel, hot water available, the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well in the room.

The WiFi didn't work, the food wasn't great and the hotel was near a very busy road full of traffic so getting there and back took a lot of time. The hotel transfer was a lot more expensive than Uber too.

Loud music from the neighborhood that went on for a long time in the night. Room was small though enough.

Comfortable hotel outside the center

Nice and comfortable hotel in Dar es Salaam. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Good and quiet air conditioning system.

The hotel is outside the center, but near the new bus line. The hotel is located in a poor neighborhood. It's not dangerous, but there is nothing interesting around, apart from local street life.

Nice place for 1 or days stay. For safety have enough money in pocket to pay the bill...

Friendly staff, clean hotel and rooms, nice breakfast

When leaving the card machine doesn't work. Then the manager only want cash. If you will pay with smaller then 100$ bank note, he will extra charge....that's bad service like cheating.
