Amazing location, beautiful surroundings, great welcoming hosts, and a great breakfast. our favorite part was all the amazing custom recommendations which actually were way better than our initial plans

The hosts! The location, the food, the room! We loved everything.

WiFi was a little slow but it was nice to disconnect.

We had a wonderful stay at Aberconwy House. From the moment we arrived, Pippa, Martin and Marian made us feel incredibly welcome. They are warm, friendly and genuinely caring hosts. The house is beautiful and has a wonderful location overlooking Betws-y-Coed and the surrounding mountains and forest. It is peaceful and quiet, while still being close enough to the village to explore everything on foot. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, with plenty of choice. We also really enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the breakfast table. We especially appreciated the helpful advice about the different walks in the area. As I was pregnant during our stay, they were particularly thoughtful about suggesting walks that would suit us. They even offered us walking poles to use, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture We would absolutely recommend Aberconwy House and would happily stay here again.

This place was ideal for us as we spent our time in between coed hiking. The owner gave us a lot of tips about hikes and routes to take. The hotel also had a lot of guides and printed copies we used for reference too. The place also paid attention to detail, like spare torches, laminated one-page maps to take for hikes, etc. The breakfast is well organised with a decent selection of options. And the rooms are super clean with a nice view and not much noise.

It's a 15-20 minute walk to the town centre for now, as a bridge with a shorter walk right opposite is under renovation. Not an issue with the place, and the hosts did warn us about this.
