This was the final, and eighth, hospitality spot for us on a two-week intergenerational family trip. We stayed in three separate units. There is a large primary facility on one side of the street, housing rooms, both restaurants (fancy and beer garden) amidst an incredible sprawling garden ground and playground. The playground is like a tropical-themed paradise for kids complete with zipline, trampolines, seesaws, a wading pool with a waterfall, and picnic tables. Expect sand and bring towels! Also, there are a lot of wasps - harmless but annoying.
Across the street are three separate buildings, palatial cottages, which house multiple guest rooms. We had two units next to one another in the first unit - and they were beautiful with ample space. The hallways were well lit, signed, and clean. The second unit, where we were moved to when we requested our third room not be in the main house across the street, was smaller and less impressive. One window was screwed shut, and it was missing some basic hygiene amenities, but we were fine.
The history of the place, the natural gardens and grounds surrounding it, and our shear exhaustion made this suitable for our needs while being a memorable last stop.
Wasps at the beer garden were annoying, and the staff were a little slow to help us. Instructions were a bit confusing and there was no signage on the buildings to help us know where to be or what to do. It seemed a little like you had to be a local to navigate. We took a while figuring out that our third unit was on the second floor and we were in the correct building because no doors had signs on them in the second cottage.

Good parking, spacious room, relatively good breakfast. Affordable price. Convenient beds, 2 kids could slip in a bunk bed.
Proximity to airport determines noise from incoming and leaving planes.
Room 33 (loft) we got was big,but it smelled terribly- something wrong with sinks, open windows did not help. We could not address it with reception- noone was there late.and yes, check in only till 6PM, which was inconvenient.No kettle or coffee maker in a room. Omelet was almost cold. In general, very disappointing experience
