The hotel and its staff were SUPERB, EXCELLENT and efficient. Many thanks to all of them.
Breakfast and the breakfast room were delightful

The stairs were unsafe from level 3 The bannister rail was difficult to reach at the top when going up The light did not come on until we were halfway down.
The room decor was stupid. All white, heads bumped on beams regularly.Had to walk around room like a hunchback.
If not white, then enormous unnecessarily HUGE and useless mirrors. It felt like you were always going to bump into someone. Totally over the top and unpleasantly disorientating.
The attempt at a wardrobe was pathetic with overweight curtains preventing easy access. (One single chair Why ????)
There was no shower in a suite !!!
The bath was dreadful. Difficult to get in and out. No easily accessible towel hooks, nor was there a heated towel rail
L'escalier était dangereux à partir du troisième niveau ; la rampe était difficile à atteindre en haut lorsqu'on montait, et la lumière ne s'allumait qu'une fois arrivé à mi-descente.
La décoration de la chambre était absurde. Tout était blanc, et l'on se cognait régulièrement la tête contre les poutres ; il fallait se déplacer dans la pièce en restant voûté.
Quand ce n'était pas du blanc, il y avait d'énormes miroirs — inutilement gigantesques et superflus — qui donnaient l'impression constante d'être sur le point de heurter quelqu'un. C'était totalement excessif et désagréablement déroutant.
L'aménagement prévu pour la penderie était lamentable, avec des rideaux trop lourds qui en gênaient l'accès. (Une seule chaise ????)
Il n'y avait pas de douche dans la suite !!!
La baignoire était épouvantable. Il était difficile d'y entrer et d'en sortir. Il n'y avait ni patères pour les serviettes facilement accessibles, ni sèche-serviettes chauffant.

The location was unbeatable and the building is stunning. We loved the local artwork in the corridors and our room was well equipped and well designed. The bathroom was great and it was lovely to look out the windows and see cruise ships. Really friendly staff.

Super location on the canal beside the restaurants and shops, good bed and shower and glad of the air conditioning in a heat wave .
Very uncomfortable pillows ,bathroom dark .
