The pool closes very early

We stayed here for 4 nights with our baby and had an overall okay experience. The location is definitely what makes this hotel stand out and, for us, is what brings it up to 4 stars. It’s remote and peaceful, which is appealing if you’re looking to disconnect, but it also means there isn’t much to do outside the hotel.
The rooms were clean, but in our opinion more 3-star than 4-star in terms of comfort and amenities. During our stay we also ran out of hot water. To the hotel’s credit, they handled this by offering us complimentary massages, which we really appreciated and thought was a nice gesture.
Overall, it was an okay stay, and the peaceful, remote location is definitely the biggest advantage. The staff were helpful when we had issues, but considering the facilities, food options and overall amenities, we probably wouldn’t choose to come back.
The restaurant schedule felt quite restrictive. Breakfast is only available for a few hours, lunch has a short 2-hour window, and afterwards most food options close. Dinner also ends relatively early, leaving very little to do in the evening. The food was alright, but not particularly memorable. There’s no room service, food options are limited, and there isn’t a bar by the swimming pool, which would have made a big difference given the remote location…Travelling with a baby who is breastfed and pumped also highlighted a few practical limitations. The mini fridge wasn’t cold enough to safely store expressed milk, but the staff were very accommodating and kindly allowed us to keep our ice packs in their freezer, which we appreciated.

Very busy when it came to the Demi-pension dinners. Could not always find a preferred table.
