Location's amazing, rooms are beautiful. The staff are a delight, specifically Margo. She knows the hotel inside out and she's truly wonderful, she'll do anything she can to help you. We had a late flight and she couldn't offer late check out but she was happy to give us pool access, look after our bags and let me charge my phone during the afternoon. The chef is incredible, if you go you must have dinner there. One of the best meals I've ever had - and this is high praise. A truly lovely, peaceful get away. The rooms are themed and beautiful, the aircon is excellent (important in the mountains), the food is great and the location is exactly what you want. With only 9 rooms the pool is normally empty or quiet, it's so peaceful. Such a special gem, very pleased to have discovered it.
The only thing I could fault ever so slightly is the cleaning of the room. It wasn't bad by any means but I had a bubble bath day 1 and the bath wasn't really cleaned after. The bin wasn't emptied if it wasn't full. This needs to be taken in the context of it doesn't have a full cleaning team, it has 9 rooms so it has one cleaning person who has a lot to do. It's a small note, the main hotel, sun terrace and importantly the pool always felt immaculate
