Very modest structure

Room on the ground floor (probably a former garage of the building) extremely humid and noisy. Difficult to stand in the tiny bathroom (under stairs space).

Exceptional

Charming house and people. They were very helpful to have a nice holliday. Breakfast was super good and they even did their best to understand my sometimes not so good italian.

Some steep steps, so maybe not for everyone

Would not stay again just because of the location

Very traditional suite. The owner upgraded us to what appeared to be an apartment because there was so much delay and confusion when we arrived. No one was there to greet us.

As mentioned, nobody showed up to greet us, neighbours had to assist us so it took an hour to finally check in

Exceptional

One of the most unique room I have ever rented. When I step out of it, I am in the middle of a beautiful little square. My wonderful breakfast was served here as well. It is just a few minutes from the coast and the centre, there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the near.

Very pleasent.

Exceptional service provided by the owners. The property is kept very authentic, a true experience of staying in an old Sicilian Pallazo. It is Situated on a tiny, pretty Piazzetta, not far from the Centro Storico.

Depressing room without windows

The decor of the room was nice, the furniture is vintage and quite impressive, not looking cheap. The building and the courtyard look pretty and cozy. Very nice, soft towels, like a brand new. The room was clean and the area also looked clean, safe and close to some amenities.

1. The room. We got a room without any window or balcony. So once you enter the room and close the door behind, it is dark like in a graveyard! I felt really depressed in such a room and because it has no windows, the presence of the damp smell is quite strong. Unfortunately because of this humidity and ugly damp smell, my asthma got worse and we were ready to leave this cave early in the morning. To be clear, the information was stating that the room I booked was WITH a balcony... Not truth. 2. The staff - the young lady that was quite nice as a matter of fact, did not inform or ask us about the fact that the room was completely dark and with no ventilation. She only gave us the keys and rushed to meet her friends. The next morning there was some young boy present at the courtyard and his only question was if we want to have a breakfast (€12 per room). Nobody asked us 'how are you' even in Italian... 3. Giving us a depressing room with no windows while I booked a room with a balcony! 4. No discount and the price we paid was like for a nice room with a balcony and some view. 5. Leaking on the floor when having a shower but normally I am ok with such things. 5. No kettle, no glass or cup, no amenities to make some hot drinks. 6. High price for such conditions, while in other places around Sicily we had a beautiful, big rooms with terraces with a view, some kitchen amenities, staying in the centre and very pleasant service provided by the owners, who were genuinely interested if we are happy. And the prices were lower than here. A real shame as I was reading such nice things about the owner....it didn't happen when we arrived.

No drinking water but celan room

Clean room with a view to small square.

The water in the tap is not drinkable, but there were some small bottles of water in the minifridge. The staff doesn´t speak a very good English (apart of the owner), but you will manage. The owner´s family live in the same building and they have to go past your door (since the room is in the 1st floor) so later in the evening it was a bit noisy.

Fantastic location, wonderful hosts and a beautiful room!

Excellent location, easy to reach the beach, the historic centre and the bus station. The room was beautiful and spotlessly clean, lots of character and very much appreciated the air conditioning and shutters to keep the room cool. The owner Lavinia was amazing, she was available to answer any questions that I had. The breakfast in the beautiful piazza was fantastic, Tonino was very attentive and kind and offered a huge selection of pastries, fruit, cold meats and cheese and drinks. A wonderful stay!

An overnight stay in full Sicilian style

The location is astonishing: a small square a walk away from the centre and from the harbour. The room is decorated in authentic Sicilian style. The breakfast was very good, the pastries were so soft! Gisela is very helpful and kind.

Friendly service and quiet corner of town. The room is charming, traditional yet practical, and breakfast in the little square is lovely

Dont bring a big luggage, as you have to climb up some pretty steep and tight stairs!

Great stay at the historic part od Licata just few steps from a beach

That's a very great place to stay in Licata. It's located in a beautiful historic square very close to the Marianello beach in Licata (maybe 8min walking), close to the center, ice cream shop and all of the great places to eat around. The owner is super nice, doesn't treat you like a client, more like a part of the family straight up. Amazing staff, great atmosphere. It's super clean and just very very enjoyable.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Charming B&B

Convenient quiet location in a small square, where an excellent breakfast is served in the morning with good choice of sweet and savory local produce including cactus fruit. Easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. The property has been thoughtfully restored retaining traditional features. The room was clean and comfortable and a special thank you to Lavinia and staff for making us feel welcome.

Excellent location with free parking by the docks nearby. No steps as room was by the square. Very friendly staff. Really informative and nice recommendations for dinner. Excellent breakfast outside in a private square.

perfect hidden gem

as a couple we stayed here for 2 nights and we loved the accomodation! perfect beds, you could make the rooms entirely dark and no sounds from outside! The little square with its cute chairs and tables under the umbrellas offered an idyllic place for breakfast. The breakfast itself was amazing, so fresh and many options to choose from. the village is nice, small but enough options for dinner, and a beautiful beach around the corner.
