RentRooms Thessaloniki

Pretty much everything. I keep coming back to the Rentrooms whenever I am in Thessaloniki. The staff is superb, if you have any special requests they always go a long to make it happen. Location, of course is great.

I do not know... Maybe the stairs :-)

The location was perfect for us - nice stuff, clean room with a private bathroom. It was great that we could travel with our mid-size dog. We only stayed for 1 night but it is perfect for a longer stay, too. Recommended!

Our accommodation was good in terms of its central location, room size, and bed length. The staff were attentive, and the breakfast was adequate.

The room is just like in the photos.The differences are these: There is no shelf in front of the mirror to place items. A vertical section of the shower enclosure, about 20 cm wide, is missing. There is an odor caused by bathroom humidity; the small ventilation unit in the bathroom is inadequate. The room receives little natural light, and the combination of humidity and the environment creates favorable conditions for insects—an issue that requires an urgent solution. It would be incorrect to simply assume the insects are coming from outside. I will elaborate on this matter further below. We had an issue with one specific matter: on our second night, I was bitten by an insect; I didn't pay much attention to it at first, simply killing and disposing of the bug I found. On the final night, after being bitten in several more places, we all woke up at 4:30 AM. We found another insect—this time we were certain it was a bedbug, as the bites appeared in a row and became extremely itchy. I messaged the accommodation via WhatsApp asking to be moved to a different room so we could sleep, and we transferred to another room at 8:00 AM. We slept for 3–4 hours after breakfast and checked out at 12:30 PM. The next day, I noticed that the same room was available for booking again on the platform. I contacted the management via WhatsApp to point out that it was inappropriate to leave the room open for reservations the very next day without any pest treatment, and I sent photos of the bites on my body. I was told that insects can enter rooms in various ways and that the rooms undergo regular pest control every two weeks. Despite stating that I would also file a formal complaint with Booking.com regarding this matter, I received the response mentioned above. I leave it to those reading this to judge the appropriateness of this approach.
