great location, we could start hiking straight from hotel. staff was very friendly and helpful. The swimmingpool was a nice extra which we enjoyed. lovely view from balcony.

guest below our room were smoking on balcony, so we had to sleep with windows and door closed. not something the hotel did wrong, but non-smoking room should also apply on balcony

It was suitably placed as we were driving from Berlin to Calais and needed to find a quiet location.

Well, it was a transit stay, the food was nice, but only nice, nothing special. As English speaker the staff did not engaged much with us, kind of what you want, eat and buzz off.

The pool is disappointed, the whole wellness section wasn't great. Definitely not value for money, overpriced for what you get if you ask me.

The hotel is pretty expensive for the conditions it was on... there is no hot water during the night, we arrived from a wedding and wanted a warm shower but it was ice cold. Also the breakfast was very very basic for the price they were charging I was expecting it to have more options and also people would use the tables and they wouldn't be cleaned afterwards, so we had to sit in another room far away from the buffet. The decoration is old and old fashioned, with stained carpets at the restaurant. Double doors in the rooms for no reason .

Breakfast, location and staff were all perfect.

Dinner was good, but very little card.

Lovely spa hotel next to a national park and the Exsteinsteine. Excellent service all round, great kitchen, perfect location. What’s not to love?
