Location is very central and close to everything; The room is very clean and has a great view; The staff is very kind and there to help you for any questions/ enquiries / recommendations without any hard selling . I would recommend this hotel without hesitation
The swimming pool and gym are more on the old side

Location is good, walkable distance from major attractions (18 steps, liberation square, hongyadong, cable train, bayi)
Shopping malls all around and connecting mall with restaurants. Subway just few steps away.
The housekeeping staff is excellent. Wanted to tip them, but in China I don't carry cash, sorry for that! They deserve a praise. Excellent roomcleaning and they do exatcly what they needed to do and leave the rest alone. (I hate it when they move or trow away my toothbrush, but they leave it in the exact place) They notice i was drying my clothes and put them on a drying rack. Its those eye for details you know they are doing an excellent job.
Poolsize is a bit small for such a large hotel. But it was clean.
Breakfast lacks daily variety, but breakfast staff is welcoming. Need to pay more attention to empty glasses to use and the coffee table section (no stirrers every time I needed one) The espresso machines needs a little adjustments (but maybe thats just the Chinese taste)

Location is the only positive aspect of the hotel. All the rest is below Hyatt Regency standard.
A praise would go to the only noteworthy staff of the hotel, a Lady from Pakistan, sorry i could not recall her name, who was very nice at breakfast.
Staff barely speak english, unacceptable at this level.
It's really shameful that the Regency Club opens at 12 noon and doesn't serve anything but coffee till 6 PM. Not worth the extra money paid. I was expecting at least some late morning snaks and afternoon tea at 2 pm, like in all other major brands club lounges.
Breakfast is acceptable, but not at the level expected for Hyatt, and it's really not good that it isn't served at the club lounge for Club rooms.
I arrived early morning, 5 AM, not expecting a free early check in, but cannot accept that have to wait till 6 AM to get the room at half the published room rate. You are charging 6 hrs at the price of half day. When I asked where i could wait for my room, i was showed the two couches in the lobby area...obviously i left the hotel lookig for a better palce to relax and rest prior to check in.
Will definitely not reccomend the hotel and definiteyl not go back
