Loved this place.
Esther is a great host and gave me a warm welcome when I arrived.
Great hotel, plenty of parking, spacious well presented room with super clean bathroom.
Breakfast was ample and I made my order the evening before. The Dutch toast with butter and jam was very tasty.
Giethoorn doesn't have a town centre as such, it is a number of restaurants scattered along the canal but it is beautiful. The pavilion with the panoramic views was great. Further down the canal there's a cluster of restaurants, a museum and a convenience store.
The view from my window was stunning, especially at sunrise.
Outside lighting from the car park to hotel would be good. I had to use the torch on my mobile phone.
There were a couple of tiny shower gels provided. I was a solo traveller and had to use both for my shower.

What a fantastic place we honestly can’t recommend it enough !!! Ester was wonderful, breakfast delicious & only a 10 minute walk into town

The location was great as we were just on the edge of the village and could easily walk in. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and breakfast was delicious with plenty to eat. Esther, our host was very welcoming.
