Historic property. Right near the ferry. Lovely staff. Great view from our hotel room.

We were right out the front of the ferry at Varenna which was perfect for beating the lines. It was clean, and comfortable.
The room we booked felt like it was in the actual roof of the hotel, but when you book, this isnt actually clear. So the windows were either up super high or down very low making it hard to actually look out of them. The bath had a shower head but there was no screen or shower curtain so you had to sit down in the bath to actually shower which was a bit tricky.

The elevator was small, but that was about it for negatives.

We stayed in the Annexe. It was amazing. We had a private balcony. The room was modern and huge and we had brilliant views. Staff at hotel were helpful for all our needs. We loved it.
