The hotel building was an old madrasa ( school built in 1862) so they tried to preserve a lot of it .It has a peaceful atmosphere and Akmal is an excellent host .He is extremely friendly and cheerful all the time .we loved our stay and if we ever come to Bukhara Amulet is our address .Thank you for your hospitality . I forgot to mention that breakfast was home made and delicious

Amulet was an absolute joy!! Ahmad gave us a warm welcome and continued to be helpful and efficient. The room was spotless and well equipped and breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The ambiance was relaxed and quiet.

Very characteristic and charming, beautiful setting. Official historical monument with so many historical detail. I was enchanted. Best hotel I stayed in in Uzbekistan. Very close to old center. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Got a room with 2 separate beds which could not be put together, one bed 30cm shorter than the other. As a solo traveler not really a problem but expectation was different.
