We liked the view of the Abbey from our room and the location was very good. Only 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The bed was really comfortable. It was a quiet location too.
The shower hose was too short and a shower mat would have been nice. Storage space was lacking if staying for a longer period.

alot of stairs to room, harsh towels, no shelf in shower to put shower gel, myhusband was 80 so found it hard to bend down, in case he slipped

The location of the property was perfect, only a 5 minute walk into the centre, and with parking too. The room was clean and a good size with great views of the abbey and a very comfortable bed. A nice welcome from the host who gave us some hints whilst visiting.

Room was spacious comfy bed.
Bathroom door continually slammed shut which was annoying, It could have done with a door stop or something similar.
No lid on bin in bathroom. Nowhere to put soap etc near the shower. Maybe a freestanding soap holder just outside the door.
No breakfast was provided, but a table and chairs. However, a plate, and some cutlery minimal would have been useful.
Most importantly one window cable tied shut and it was boiling. As we're having such a hot summer a fan would have been appreciated (or aircon). We had to leave the one opening window open to breath upstairs and the traffic noise was considerable as the property sits by a set of traffic lights.
Bedding and bed were lovely and the room was very spacious.
