Lovely house in beautiful surroundings. The host was very welcoming and helpful, and took the time to show us the area and give us recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay and had a lovely weekend.
The main downside was the bed linen and towels. Booking mentions an “extra charge”, but the price is not clearly shown and the details are only found at the bottom under “Additional information”. We only found out the price upon arrival and ended up paying 1,000 SEK for four people, even after a discount, which felt very expensive for quite old linen and towels. A simple reminder before arrival would have been really helpful so we could have brought our own.

Beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped cottage surrounded by farmland and wildlife. Quiet, idyllic. Easy drive (or long walk) into Höganäs. Host very gracious, friendly and helpful. Sauna in bathroom, though didn't use it as our stay was too short and full.
We loved everything but a few things handy to know in advance that might not be clear from the Booking.com description: the hot tub is currently not in use; deposit of SEK1000 is requested in cash - fine except we couldn't spend it anywhere afterwards (shops and restaurants card only) so had to convert it back to £ at a cost; bedding and towels SEK500 (at time of writing) also cash.
