It is a remote location, natural, wild and secluded, which in large part makes it such a unique experience!
Not much we didn’t like. We knew beforehand that there may be cuts to the electricity, but the electricity cuts didn’t always adhere to the hours indicated. That said there were some emergency lights available in the units even when the cuts were made which were much appreciated. We did bring flashlights with us which were useful to have.

The wonderful location in the wilds of the Patagonian seaboard coupled with the stupendous guides who opened our eyes with their knowledge and passion for all the wildlife made the experience unforgettable. We felt very privileged to share this special place for four nights. We also appreciated the freedom to go exploring the peninsula, the beaches and the cape on our own. The communal spaces - lounge/library, the display/games room, film room - all added to us feeling relaxed and at home.
The steppe rooms aren’t luxurious but if you opt for the self catering package, it is all part of the adventure. You can always treat yourselves to lunch, dinner or breakfast in the main lodge if you want a bit of pampering!
