The location was unbelievably gorgeous, and the views absolutely incredible. We spent hours lounging in the pool, staring out at the ocean and the tropical birds flying around. The food was also the best we had in all of Costa Rica, truly fantastic meals in a gorgeous setting. Had a wonderful massage at the spa with jungle noises for a backdrop. Also hiked on the hotel trails down to the waterfalls, where we dipped our toes in the water. Amazing.

Everything was perfect from the room to the pool to the restaurant and staff. The hotel is fabulously located in the jungle with views over the ocean, which were stunning. We loved the hikes around the hotel and the (2) waterfalls on the property. The staff were very accommodating.
The only small thing I would say is that the do-not-disturb sign should be at the entrance to the villa, not on the doors. Such a small thing, but this way, the staff do not have to enter the private area to see if you need service.
