View was incredible, breakfast and service were outstanding.
Bed was small, pillows not the greatest, would like to see better soap and shampoo when paying these prices. Lastly, the thought I had was it would be beneficial to have towels available by the pool area. There is a sign says guests can’t entre the lobby wet, but no towels available either and expects people to remember to bring from room. It was just a simple thought I had while I was there enjoying my stay.

The staff at this hotel were great. Very helpful and friendly. It has a fantastic pool with a great view. The room was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant has very nice breakfast and dinner. Also, it has a great little laundry room where you can do your own washing for much less than a laundry service.
The property is a little out of La Union. But taxis are cheap and readily available so wasn’t a big issue for us.

The hotel is nice for the area of La Union and there isn't many options better than the Comfort Inn. It's very quiet and has nice view of the water from the pool area. Not walkable to any places, so you definitely need a car/taxi to get into the center of La Union. Breakfast buffet was okay and just your "tipico" Salvadorian breakfast.
TV didn't work, so nothing to watch during the night when in my room. The check-in took forever when it wasn't busy and alot of things were missed or not explained to me at check-in. Again, nothing at the hotel to do other than the pool, so a car is needed to get around.

The restaurant menu
The smell of our double suite had a moldy smell and the television area was dirty. Another room which was being used by my mother and aunt had a stranger walk in on them during the night from a side room which wasn't properly locked. The outside pool had lots of mosquitoes which made it hard to enjoy the pool area. The waiters at night weren't pleasant and took their sweet time tending to our table. When we asked for sauces or other drinks they seemed to bother by our requests and had a negative attitude. In the morning we were treated to a take out option for the inconvenience of the night before...but unfortunately, they didn't ask our dietary needs and gave us sandwiches with ham which we couldn't eat since we don't eat pork.
