Beautiful building in very pleasant grounds, all immaculately maintained. Very helpful, polite, well presented staff, plus comfortable room and excellent food.

I expected more. I thought it was going to be more prestigious and while it may be great for weddings, its little more than a family hotel with an OK restaurant
Access. Simply finding reception was a challenge, especially arriving at Sunday lunch. Often passed open doors to storerooms or kitchens. Staff were ok but not overly friendly (except person serving breakfast). Dinner in the cellars was disappointing - the fish was so artificial and had no taste.
