The room was really spacious, updated, with a nice counter space for eating or using a PC. Bathroom was nice but only a shower (no bathtub since the onsen hot spring is the best part of the stay). The onsen was very large, two types of baths plus an outdoor bath, and a mixed M/F bath (attire is provided by the hotel).
We didn't reserve dinner or breakfast when we made our hotel reservation, so were out of luck for meals and the closest conbini had very little in terms of real food (mostly snacks). There are a few restaurants around, but if you are tired at the end of a long day, be sure to by something for dinner before you arrive!

I enjoyed the vibe of this hotel, the mixed onsen was a treat, as we could share the experience. The Buffett had quality food on offer and staff were very attentive.
Beds were comfy and rooms were quiet. The forest location was pretty special. The staff were very accommodating with our requests.
There is a natural spring across the road where you can get natural mountain water to drink.

Nice onsen
The location is not good if you don't have a car. I booked this hotel because they had shuttles to the resorts but found the shuttles not to have convenient times for me. There were only a few times it would take you to hirafu otherwise you had to transfer to the Niseko United bus but then it was taking me an hour to get to hirafu area. Most food places were in Hirafu but you had to plan to be done before 7pm if you wanted to utilize the shuttle. The latest shuttle was at 7pm and if you missed it you could get a city bus but the would have to get a taxi and the taxis were hard to come by. There is only one restaurant in walking distance and no convenience stores. You really have to plan to be out all day or bring food.
They had tea in the lobby but there were signs saying you can't take a cup of it back to your room which I found really odd and off putting. The staff sometimes were helpful and other times not so much. I did not find I got my money worth for what I paid.
