The front desk supervisor Omar is exceptionally kind and helpful. He provided a lot of information to get around Lima. Breakfast was served whenever you were ready. Overall, my stay was comfortable and even homely.
The bathroom looked clean but still a foul smell could be detected.

Excellent location, very friendly and helpful staff
Somebody’s hair under the pillow (fresh sheets?), the only window consisted of a fixed pane of glass with no curtain and two wooden shutters underneath, this opened onto a small vestibule containing the entrance and front desk - the result was a noisy, stuffy and permanently lit room with no privacy when we had the shutters open

Near the centre of the city we could explore the area with ease
The person who checked us in wasn't very good. Plus, what they said we'd get wasn't there, and they switched our room when we got there.
