Amazing views, trails and beach access. Loved the natural pool!
Considering it’s an eco lodge, the plant-based options were very limited. Bathroom could do with better lighting.

Amazing location near the national park. Our room had amazing views of the bay and national park. We saw tucans and other exotic birds every day. Pool was a great place to come back after tours where the kids would play and drain remaining energy. La poza was AMAZING, such a luxury ti have a private natural pool. They also have private access to a secluded beach that belongs to the national park, we didn’t get in because it is quite rough but you definitely can go in. It was a very beautiful place to relax and take pictures. The walk to the beach was also a beautiful path filled with roots. The hostess at the recepcion was also amazing in sharing information and making us feel at home. it felt like we where in her home and she was hosting us, very good service overall. The rooms where spacious and while being ecofriendly they felt very luxurious.
The food and restaurant service can definitely benefit from an upgrade, and the staff could also benefit from better training in service as well as food preparation. Breakfast was fine but then we decided to have dinner and it was very basic preparation and the waiter missed some of our requests.

The secluded location, the nature around, the amazing views, the natural pool in the forest, the pool.
No AC- I could not sleep for 2 nights as it was very hot, the fan was not enough.

Beautiful jungle location overlooking the coastline, including a nice view of the "whale's tail" feature. Lots of wildlife around including Toucans, monkeys, sloths. Rooms are basic, no AC, but this wasn't a problem for us - the fans in the room did their job. The grounds are fantastic, with some real jungle walks on site, and a great (shaded) swimming pool.
The food portions were unavoidably huge, much too much for our kids but also for us, and there was no kids menu. The food was more "standard American" than anything else we ate in Costa Rica.
