En plein cœur de Royan, l'hôtel est très accueillant et le personnel très sympathique.

Chambre petite

Le petit déjeuner et la sympathie du personnel.

La chambre minuscule ,bruit de ventilation non stop. Désuet. Une horreur.

J'ai adoré la décoration de la chambre (N°5) et j'ai énormément apprécié le fait qu'on nous ait choisi une chambre "au calme" (mon Compagnon ayant eu un malaise -en Gironde- la nuit du vendredi au samedi...et donc, nous avons dû décaler notre séjour de 24 h). Nous avons très bien dormi ! Le petit déjeuner était fantastique : un choix inouï de mets proposés et le chocolat chaud, les croissants et le pain absolument délicieux !!! Grande amabilité et courtoisie sur place, toutes les infos utiles nous ont été fournies (+ le fait de nous informer qu'il y avait un feu d'artifice le soir à 20h sur le front de mer et le Marché de Noël, même endroit : très bonne surprise !!!). Présence de Royannais "pur jus" et leurs conversations sympathiques pendant que nous prenions notre petit déj'. La décoration du hall d'accueil est fantastique et chaleureuse, ainsi que la salle du petit déj' de "très bon goût". Nous sommes à proximité de tout à pieds. Nous reviendrons !!!!!

The owners were delightful. Despite my poor French, they were helpful, friendly and genuinely good people. They deserve success. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed with ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was of very good quality in their Bistro within the hotel.

Nothing to dislike.

Nice quirky room with separate toilet, shower and washrooms , a separate area with a kettle etc, and another separate wardrobe area, nice comfortable bed, and aesthetically pleasing. Everything was clean and the room is serviced each day. Staff were helpful and welcoming, the receptionist did not speak much English but we managed with the little french we speak and had no problems. The manager was also very helpful. A good continental breakfast to set us up for the day.

The plug sockets were in odd places, there were 2 sockets, one beside the bed , but in the area where the kettle was located the socket was high on the opposite wall, where you would expect to see a light switch, and the kettle flex could not possible reach, we had to position the kettle on the bedside table to use it.. Not really a problem but a bit odd. Parking is also limited, with the hotel positioned on a corner near a roundabout. but free spaces are available. We initially had to park in the railway station car park ( one hour free), then move the car when a space became available.
