First of all the staff - Diana and Caroline/Catherine (unfortunately unable to recollect her name) were wonderful. My husband had misplaced his bag in a taxi and they helped in making necessary calls and tracing the taxi driver who got our bag back. Plus they were extremely responsive and helpful. The omelette at lunch was delicious. Their breakfast was also quite a spread and filling. The best was the view of the Duoro and Gaia bridge from the hotel rooms and the rooftop bar. Unforgettable holiday!

Bed was comfortable
Poor breakfast where I had to pay for an homelette, not in line with 4-stars standard, no gym, no toiletries in the bathroom, no coffee machine, very weirdly shapped hotel
