Location was great, clean street and walking distance from old town and bus. The studio is roomy. Bathroom is upgraded. Bed is okay and the linen is clean. Host is responsive.
The neighborhood is nice but this particular building leaves much to be desired.
The apartment is old and needs upgrading. The wooden furniture was okay but the sofa is old and worn. The European style coffee makers (two provided) are equally old but functional. Some dishes are chipped.
I’ve rarely stayed at a place that does not provide shower soap or gel. The listing does state that for “logistical purposes” they provide only a day of shower/shampoo. It’s annoying to show up at night with jet lag and start looking for supermarkets for bath soap for the next day.
Instant Coffee was mentioned but not provided. The owner said he would bring some instant coffee but by the time he responded we had bought some ground coffee and didn’t take him up on the offer. Plus there are lots of cafes nearby.
Access is frankly, very dirty and unattractive and has lots of giant trash cans. Smell of cigarette smoke comes up from the corridors. There is no AC. Two fans provided were fine in late summer but might have been hot without the AC. Not sure how hot Warsaw gets. Leaving windows open invites fruit flies inside. And the courtyard view from the windows is pretty dismal.
It’s on the third floor and you have lug up your suitcases, and the staircase is dirty and musty.
Apartment is inexpensive and it really shows. If the furniture is upgraded and little conveniences like soap and shampoo and coffee were provided it would make it a better bargain.
There is nothing the owner can do about the building and access.
But they can spend a few bucks to make the apartment nicer.

Beautiful. Perfectly quiet! In the heart of everything. I came for work at the University. This apartment was steps away from the main gate of the University of Warsaw. Plus the historic district. The bed and soft and table and chairs. It was both pretty and functional. I did not cook but they had everything you needed. The host was very responsive to questions. He also set up self check jn well in advance so that everything was smooth. Note, it is on the 3rd floor so you have to be able to carry your luggage up. I would 100% stay here again if I return to Warsaw. I loved sitting at the table and looking out at the courtyard. Again, blissfully, peacefully quiet and clean. Thank you!
I didn't understand what an annex was so I got a little lost upon arrival. But once I reviewed the check in, step by step, I was fine. I had hoped to use the washer but it had that slightly off smell, which I know of normal but I can't handle it. So I just hand washed a few things and hung to dry
