Absolutely brilliant

Communication with Rita was fantastic. The apartment is in a great location, lots of lovely fluffy towels and robes, great comfortable bed too. We will definitely stay here again.

Clean, convenient and comfortable

Have all the amenities, and everything is clean and comfortable. Location wise it’s perfect, just next to a surf school and everything else is within a walking distance. Our host Rita was very attentive - she made sure that we have everything we need and even recommended some places to go.

There was some building work opposite the property, which was very noisy, but this wasn’t the fault of the owner.

It was great

The apartment was nice and spacious. It came with all facilities one could wish for, i.e.: WiFi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, cooking material and a microwave. It was delivered very clean and got cleaned again after one week. We also got extra towels. Communication with our host Rita was nice. There is a supermarket in less than 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment which also has an ATM. There is a surfing school next door which has great lessons for all levels. The outside place of the apartment is equipped with a faucet to rinse wetsuits and a sturdy drying rack. All in all we had a great experience and would book it again without hesitation.

Would have liked a 2 persons bed instead of 2 singles, but you cannot have everything :)

Exceptional

Great location, a minute from one of the many local beaches, a few minutes walk to town, nice and quiet at night. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you might need; even robes and beach towels. The sheets were very high quality and bed and pillows super comfy. Gloria was super helpful, too. Would definitely recommend.

a nice stay in Ericeira

the apartment was clean and had nice furniture. There was a lot of kitchen equipment and the host was very friendly. We got a lot recommendations of her, what we can do in Ericeira and nice places to eat. Also the host was always available and only one call away. What we also very appreciated was the washing Maschine, which was really nice for us to get our clothes clean. The laundry detergent smelled like roses.

So we had a little problem with the apartment because the apartment didn’t suit to the description on booking. On booking were said that the apartment would have two balconies, but the apartment didn’t even have one. The only thing where you could sit outside was the entrance. Also the entrance only had one chair and not even two. Furthermore there was not enough toilet paper for our stay. You need to bring oil, salt and pepper by yourself if you want to cook.

Great stay

I stayed three days at casa Burnay. The location is perfect and the apartment was really clean. Would recommend if you are looking for a nice stay for not to much money.

A home away from home

The location of the property is great, very close to the beaches and within short walking distance to the centre of Ericeira and all its restaurants, shops and services. Rita, the hostess, was incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the whole stay, always checking in to see if I needed anything and making sure I was enjoying my stay. The apartment itself (top floor one) was very clean and incredibly cozy and comfortable, with great thermal and acoustic insulation and all the amenities you might need (plus some that go way beyond what's usually needed). It is also equipped and decorated with great taste and attention to detail, so the whole experience truly feels like a home away from home. Overall, this was quite probably the best stay I've ever had in Ericeira, and in all likelihood I would stay here again.
