We looked far and wide for a masseria that was centered around a real working farm (with food produced by the proprietor), but we didn’t want to stay in a manger! We also didn’t want a phony masseria that was just a spa situated in an old property. We landed on a gem! Luciana is wonderful and her property is so lovely. Really pretty gardens, structures from the 1500’s, olive oil groves, but then wonderful modern touches- like tinted plaster walls in the bathrooms, handmade lace sheets, excellent water pressure with lots of hot water, good a/c. The pool is great (not heated but it feels refreshing) and squeaky clean with lots of shade and sun. But the best part is the breakfast! Each morning we had the most incredible food- yogurt like we had never tasted, homemade jams that we will be chasing the flavor of for a long time, fresh fruits and cheeses, and a special baked good each day made by the very sweet Leah. The town of Melendugno, just a 7 min drive away, has a few great restaurants and some of our favorite sandy beaches in Puglia were within a 10-15 min drive. Highly recommended!
If you want a place that has meals served all day, this would not be a match.

A truly authentic experience for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the genuine atmosphere of the Italian countryside and the traditional farms of Southern Italy.
An excellent property in a strategic location, making it easy to explore the main attractions and highlights of the wider area. The perfect combination of simplicity and luxury, creating a warm, comfortable, and memorable stay.
The host was always friendly, attentive, and willing to help with every aspect of our stay.
Overall, an exceptional experience that we would be very happy to enjoy again. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was super - home grown products, and wonderful friendly service.
We didn't realise we had booked a room off the main structure. I think we would have preferred to have a room in it. However, it was very private which was of course lovely.

Really cool farm and property in general. Tasteful interior decoration that both fit the classic architecture but also felt current and stylish. Service was great as well, as was the breakfast
Not much service (eg food) behind breakfast so more a classic BnB
