A great place to stay if you want to explore the real Istanbul
We had a really nice stay (10 days) here and honestly felt very comfortable from the beginning. The hotel was clean and tidy, the staff were extremely kind and always ready to help, and the breakfast was great. It was fresh, healthy and some of the food was homemade by the local Turkish cook, which made it feel even more special.
The location was also excellent. There was a bus stop very close to the hotel (200mt), so it was easy to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. The Grand Bazaar, the metro station and the sea were all nearby as well. We also discovered a very authentic part of Fatih, with local bakeries, restaurants, kebab places and one of the best ice cream shops we tried in Istanbul. There was even a great place nearby for balik dürüm.
We explored the city both on foot and by public transport, which was very convenient. It was also a big advantage to leave our car in the hotel’s secure parking (10 days) and visit Istanbul without worrying about driving or finding a parking space.
We were travelling with our small doggo, who was very welcome and stayed free of charge, which we really appreciated :) Coffee, tea and water were also available at the hotel throughout our stay.
Overall, it was an amazing experience and we would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Istanbul.

In brief, I don’t believe how on earth it rates fabulous on booking.com , and hey change €35-45 a night for this place.Maximum I’d say €18 .
