Het is een prachtig hotel op een prachtige locatie. Hele grote tuin met zwembaden die toegang biedt tot het strand.
Het ontbijt is matig en de ruimte is geurig en niet schoon. Personeel is niet vriendelijk. Bijzonder genoeg mag je niet zwemmen in de zee, 25 meter verderop wel. lachertje. Hele rustige zee.

Large resort, space to walk around. Staff were friendly and helpful. Spa and fitness centre good. Lobby bar limited. Restaurant food generally good
Location is limited in terms of nearby activities although there are some restaurants a short walk away in a neighbouring complex.
Constant helicopter sight seeing and micro gliders disturb the tranquility around the pool areas. Some of the pool areas were closed

For Western tourists: important
1) There are a lot of guards by the sea side that are prohibiting you from swimming in the sea! As we only came to Sanya for a beach side vacation this is mental. Just close it and do not advertise the hotel as a sea side / sea front with a beach. The beach is useless, you need to walk significantly to actually swim so that the guards don't see you . Very uncomfortable
2) the Sea Front Villa is actually very far from the sea and does not have the sea view
3) the Blue restaurant (sea food) staff was very unfriendly. Two times we came they tried to discourage us from coming, as there will be no time left to eat. We came around 20.00 and the restaurant is officially working till 21.30. One time we were accepted they made it very hard to make an order (for every item there needed some additional action to be taken,like ask the cook if they would make it) and then when we got the food and spent overall 200USD on very few basic positions, they approached the table every 5 minutes trying to push us to order more, while we clearly refused and wanted to eat in peace. Overall spent around 30 minutes there finishing the meal and feeling pushed out. Do not recommend. We have never encountered a similar attitude anywhere else in restaurants in China.
4) the Pool bar is not working, just a decoration in the main pool. While it is equipped and could be fully functional, there is no one there. Overall staff at the beach bar and grill restaurant don't know how to do basic cocktails.
5) There were a lot of ants in the room (this is a minor disadvantage for me personally) but the cleaning kept ignoring it every time and dead ants kept piling up in the bathroom and the toilet. Overall cleaning has been very half-assed, leaving a lot of things undone.
