The hotel was beautiful, friendly staff and just a short distance from the village. Our room had a lovely view of the river.

The room was a good size and always very clean
The balcony was nice, even though it faced the street. I would prefer the other side which faces the river.
The Hotel is located in a quiet area, is amazing place if you need to rest and restore your energy. It was my case
They didn't change the towels in the bathroom and we stayed 6 days

The hotel is in a lovely quiet area right next to the Guadiana River looking over to Spain. The room was on the ground floor overlooking the pool area, with a small seating are outside. It was a good size, fresh, clean and bright. The bathroom was shower over bath but did provide a non-slip mat. It was extremely quiet, though this may have been because of few other guests and the pool area too chilly to use so this might be different in high season.
The mattresses were very firm; my husband can usually sleep on any mattress but neither of us could get comfortable and both had a sleepless night. Mattress toppers would have solved this issue. Thankfully we were only staying one night but I was looking forward to a good night's sleep on our short break.
There were supposed to be toiletries supplied but we had none and no shower gel in the dispenser, which was not discovered till morning when it was too late to ask. Fortunately, there was a bar of soap on the sink.
The adjuster that determines whether the water comes out the shower head or the tap did not properly function, so the water came out of the shower head and tap at the same time, and one ended up showering and standing in a lot of water as it did not drain away quickly enough. A minor problem.
There was very adequate wardrobe space, but only 2 wooden hangers, 1 of which was broken, and 2 wire hangers. Yes, we could have asked for more, but I do not feel that we should have to ask for all the things that should already be supplied.
