A decent hotel. Most of the guests are wholesale buyers staying for a few days, and there are plenty of shops around. HOWEVER, it’s also a great option for tourists! Everything is close by and the area is safe enough.
(A quick heads-up: be careful when topping up your Istanbulkart. Never hand your cash to any "helpers" — they tried to scam us by hiding one of our bills between their fingers).
Public transport, currency exchange, places to eat, and grocery stores are all nearby. It's a perfect spot for those who plan to walk around the city a lot.
As for the room, the cleaning was a solid 9+, the bed linens were fresh and clean, and the mattress was sturdy enough not to sag under my 120 kg. The air conditioning worked fine, though I didn't turn on the TV. The room is on the smaller side, but it was completely sufficient.
The internet was terrible. Honestly, don't even count on the Wi-Fi. It only worked a bit late at night and early in the morning. There was an unpleasant smell in the first room they gave us, but they changed it for us. The second room had a slight smell of sewage, but it was very faint; we just aired it out, and it was fine. The breakfast was very basic and limited, but there was always something to eat—we never left hungry, and none of us had any stomach issues (there were 6 of us).

La posizione e la camera
Purtroppo non è stata un’esperienza molto positiva. Questo hotel avrebbe del potenziale, considerando la posizione in cui si trova e le camere che mantengono un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Peccato però che ci sia un gran viavai di gente, rumori anche durante la notte di ospiti poco educati e personale poco collaborativo. Inoltre la (piccola) hall dell’hotel è inaccessibile, costantemente piena di bagagli e con persone che smerciano le cose più disparate a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte.
Alla reception non parlano bene inglese e mi è scomparsa una catenina dalla stanza (bigiotteria). Inoltre dalle scalinate principali andrebbero tolte un po’ di cose per rendere più decoroso e accogliente l’ambiente. Alla fine sono stata costretta a contattare Booking per mediare, soprattutto sul rumore notturno. Mi dispiace dare un giudizio negativo ed è la prima volta che mi capita un’esperienza del genere in anni di viaggi. Mi spiace soprattutto perché si vede che receptionist è una brava persona e stamattina presto si é messo anche a disposizione per organizzarmi un transfer in aeroporto e alla fine mi ha trattato bene.Tuttavia da un hotel a tre stelle recensito discretamente su Booking mi aspettavo di più. Deludente.
