Salle de bain et chambres un peu sombres, équipement minimum (1 sèche cheveux pour tous les lodges.)

Mooie locatie, fijn zwembad, mogelijkheden voor excursies. Park met de huisjes ziet er mooi uit. Vriendelijke bediening.

Weinig keuze in maaltijden.

Mooi aangelegd en authentiek. Het zwembad is heerlijk! Su-per lekker eten.

Het blijft de jungle, dus je komt de nodige insecten tegen op plekken waar je ze liever niet ziet…

Nice pool, nice dining areas (when other guests not playing music and phones out loud all day), nice trail behind the property. I like the hammocks and furniture around the pool. Friendly cat and baby monkey playing around!

(1) they charge 5% to pay by credit card at check in. The nearest ATM is 30 mins away. You have no choice unless you are already carrying spare cash. They would not waive for us as they did for a previous reviewer. They said ‘they have told booking.com’ (2) property a bit unloved and possibly unfinished? We had the big duplex A frame room shown in pictures. No path to it and we fell over in mud. Very dark inside as much natural light blocked out on ground floor. We asked for the lamps (as shown in their pictures of room on booking.com - otherwise no light at all near bed) and had to haggle a bit to get them. Same story with loo roll, coat hangers (the rails are there, you just can’t use them…). No bath mats despite leaky shower, no glasses (all water is payable), no pool towels. No key to property. See photos between advertised and actual room! (3). Breakfast is limited and the same every day. Scrambled eggs, fruit and bread with ham/jam. Some weak coffee and juice. Lunch/dinner was fine (limited for vegetarians). (4) trips quite expensive - note you can get them much cheaper (half!) in the row of travel agents off the main square in Puerto Maldonado. (5) staff pleasant enough but do seem quite passive.
