Beautiful, modern cabin on quiet Rush Lake bay
About this house rental
Situated in Crosslake, this lovely house for $1,089 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. **This home is ONLY listed on VRBO - any listing on any other website is not a real listing** Swedish modern cabin, built new 2016. Less than a mile to the Moonlight Bay and the Bourbon Room, five minute drive to Manhattan Beach. Five minutes by boat to the Wharf. Yet the home is tucked away from all busy roads, making it very quiet and peaceful, and to put your mind at ease when kids and pets are outside playing! Plug your phone into the Sonos system to enjoy music indoors or outdoors. Great beach play area for the kids, great for playing bags! Swimming area is sandy and shallow up to the dock. Use the lily pad for swimming, or two paddle boards or paddle boat to explore our gorgeous bay and Rush Lake islands. The bay is mostly quiet, but you'll get to see the occasional waterskiier come through. Even on windy days, this protected bay stays mostly calm. Make s'mores out by the beautifully landscaped firepit! Completely open main living area, main level master suite, huge covered deck to relax and enjoy the scenery - you'll for sure see deer, eagles, and loons! Screened in porch is a great place to enjoy your meals that you make in the beautiful and open chef's kitchen with a 6-burner Capital range and Viking refrigerator. Screen porch is also where we keep our toys - for adults and kids. Paddleboards and bag set will be found there, toys for younger ones (1-5-ish) including a watertable. Cabin is close to Golden Eagle, Deacon's Lodge, Whitefish Club, Crosswoods - fall golf up here is gorgeous! Enjoy a holiday, hosting Thanksgiving or Christmas with the family - it's always been one of our favorite times of the year to come up here! Two pairs of snowshoes and 3 kids sleds available - bring your winter toys! **We do not rent our pontoon with rental. However there are several great spot to rent boats from in town - contact us for referral**

First time we rented on the Whitefish chain was 33 years ago. For 10 years we rented and then owned a cabin for 13.
So fun to come back as a family after being gone for 10 years.
The reason we chose this property was the screened in porch and the need for 4 bedrooms.
Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this cabin. The location, size amenities--all wonderful. It felt very welcoming for a rental house, with all we needed available for use. The hosts were very responsive to an unpredictable issue with the refrigerator. It was a great place for time together with the extended family. Thanks!

Our stay was wonderful. The house is gorgeously designed and had all of the amenities that we were hoping for. The backyard is fabulous. We played a lot of cornhole and the teenagers enjoyed the stand up paddle boards. We were able to park our rented pontoon at the dock and enjoy a week doing water sports on the lake. October autumn long weekend family getaway. Everything was outstanding. Booking, communication, check-in all seamless. Home is well designed and maintained. With the warm weather we really enjoyed the sunny afternoons in the back yard playing cornhole and sipping wine on the back deck. Beautiful screen porch (thankfully no mosquitos in October), well-equipped kitchen, high-ceiling great room with nice natural light. Very comfortable for our group (4 adults, three teenagers). We were looking for a large property for a family reunion and Jessica and Cory’s place did not disappoint! We had 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 10 year old kids. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, but also great communal spaces when we wanted to be together. We especially enjoyed dinners on their fabulous screened in porch.

This property is exactly as it looks in the pictures! The space was perfect for our family. We had a wide range of ages.. The younger ones loved the basement space. The screened in porch was perfect for eating or playing games/ cards.. We loved sitting on the porch each morning with our coffee. Our adult kids played a ton of bags all week. The dock set up was perfect for our pontoon. It had great dishes/ pots/pans to cook as well as a grill. The hosts were very responsive if we had questions. We have already booked for next summer!

Whitefish Chain Paradise
This is the second time we have stayed at the property and as before, it didn't disappoint!
My group of friends and I have been coming to the Whitefish Chain for 19 years and this is hands down, our favorite of any place we've stayed.
The location is centrally located on the chain, which makes it convenient to get to all of the major restaurants/bars on the lake and is in a quiet bay.
The amenities of the home are ideal with plenty of sleeping quarters, large outdoor deck, a large screened in patio overlooking the lake, fire pit, great living area with a large TV to relax after a day on the lake, and the list goes on....
We utilized the grill, large kitchen, and dining area to enjoy a meal in and enjoyed the exceptional view of the lake.
It's an idyllic setting that must be experienced to fully appreciate it!

Great time with extended family
Great property on a quiet bay. We enjoyed the lake, fire pit and awesome screened in porch. Plenty of space for 2 families with teenagers and 2 seniors. The dock was a nice place for morning yoga and to dock our rented pontoon. Great trees lakeside to hang up hammocks. We found all we needed in the kitchen to prepare our meals and the pantry was stocked with essentials for cooking.

Great property
Highly recommend! My family had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and spacious and the location was beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were comfortable. We loved the large porch and the outdoor fire pit. The host was very friendly and responsive. One surprise was the need to bring our trash into town for disposal since the property doesn’t have garbage service, but it ended up being easy enough to do ($5 at a local gas station). Book this place- you won’t regret it! We definitely hope to be back again!

Very private quite bay. House very adequate for our group. Appliances could be updated. No toaster, but a very small old toaster oven and very small microwave. Also more chairs around campfire could be added. Only drawback not older people friendly. Lots of stairs!!

Great place to relax!
We had a nice stay over spring break for a few days with our family. The home is beyond lovely, and it made a great place to relax. We loved the town of Crosslake and the surrounding communities. We biked on some Cayuna Trails and had lunch at Red Raven which we will do again. I am pretty sure this area of MN is the gem of the cabin world. The fire pit was lovely to spend some cool spring nights at as well as our stay was end of March. We would definitely return to this home and area. Also, the owners have everything you need and the check-in, etc. was seamless. It would be great for large groups as well even though there were only 4 of us as there are plenty of nice sleeping quarters and bathrooms. Great find!

Absolute Favorite Place to Stay!
This was a perfect place for me and my family to gather after Christmas. Cory and Jessica have designed and outfitted their cabin with impeccable taste and attention to detail. It is simply gorgeous! It was large enough for my three adult children and their partners to join me, yet it didn't feel too big when I was there alone for a few days. Cozy, warm, beautiful and extremely clean. The cabin was equipped with high quality appliances and cookware which made our focus on gourmet meals easy. The location was perfect - close to grocery stores for last minute items that we forgot. Cory and Jessica were perfect hosts - very communicative, accommodating, and friendly. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. (Cory and Jessica, if you ever want to sell this place, I'm your girl!)

Modern Lake Home
We had a great time at this lovely lake house. The home is well appointed and has everything needed for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed time on the gracious porch overlooking the lake and the kids enjoyed the basement hang out area and bunk beds. We were able to have 3 kids participate in distance learning without difficultly and there is a nice desk area off of the main entrance. Highly recommend!

Great get away
The cabin is exactly as described. 4 years old and well done. It's nicely decorated and had plenty of space for the 7 of us. We loved to long table in the dining area and table in the screen porch where we played end hours of games. The deep overhang on the deck the lake side was great. One of the days it rained on and off and we sat on the deck and didn't get wet. We loved the paddle boards and corn hole game. High end appliances, cookware and dishes were a plus! The master bedroom and bathroom is luxurious. The beach area is really nice. We didn't use the bonfire area, but that is also very nice. The boulders and steps to the lake are very nice. One note - The entry to the cabin is on the second floor which means you need to haul everything down the stairs to the kitchen. Not a big deal for us because our adult children could help us.

End of Summer send off
The cabin was perfect in many ways, it looked exactly like the pictures, was in a great location on the lake and was close to town. The lower level was great for our teenage kids. We had plenty of space inside and loved the fire pit. The only small issues we had was the cleaning crew didn't get the floors, garbage area and base boards a significant wipe down. The barn downs on the main floor are very hard to slide shut and gave little privacy. We got over it but keep that in mind if you're an older couple. Make sure to bring extra patio/outdoor chairs they don't have enough for a group. Overall, we loved the modern feel of the cabin and will be back with our group.

Beautiful Lake Property
Eight of us had a fantastic week at this wonderful property. Loved everything about it - the home is every bit as nice as advertised. Very clean, comfortable, with excellent amenities. Loved the fire pit, dock and sand beach. We rented a pontoon and easily tied up to the dock. The location is great for getting around the Whitefish chain. Just a wonderful property and hoping to rent again next year.

A beautiful home in a beautiful setting!
This home has everything you need for a week at the cabin. If you are looking for a modern, well stocked cabin for kids, this is one is for you! Kids toys galore! The screened in porch is large and has many toys for young kids. The paddle boards and paddle boat for older kids and adults. We rented a pontoon for the time we were there and that was a must to explore the lakes.
This home may not be for you if unable to do steps. Steps to the lake and steps upon arrival to get to main living area (inside or out).
There’s a food coop at ideal corners that we went to and appreciated for organic produce, local foods and quality meats to grill-just a 10 minute drive away. The cold pressed blueberry juice was delicious!

Our group of 6 kids and 6 adults had a wonderful vacation! We enjoyed the covered and screened porches, easy access to the lake, lily pad and paddle boards.
Our kids took advantage of fishing on the dock (corn works as bait!) and swimming and tubing on the very quiet and calm bay.
The cabin itself is lovely with its large windows (that face the lake), kitchen and pantry, modern aesthetic and comfortable furnishings.
Lastly, the owners are responsive and helpful.

Picture Perfect Getaway
The pictures are an excellent representation of the property, but in person it's even better. It's a stunning and very well thought out property that makes the best use of it's indoor and outdoor spaces. Gorgeous views of the lake, wonderful amenities, screened in patio, covered deck, ease of access to the chain of lakes, and located on a quiet bay, makes this one of the most desirable houses on the chain to rent. Highly recommend!

Amazing vacation!
We loved staying at this lake house. Gorgeous views, comfortable beds and tons for the kids to keep busy and have fun with. We loved the paddle boat and boards and the dock worked perfect to tie up our 25ft pontoon to. The lake it is on was great for kayaking, paddle boarding, tubing and water skiing. We also enjoyed having a campfire with lake views. Thank you so much for opening up your home for our fun family vacation!

Summer vacation
Beautiful location and cabin. Very spacious with an awesome deck and screened in porch. Unfortunately the majority of my family swam in the lake by the dock and we got swimmers itch. After talking with the cabins neighbors and other people on the lake we learned it's best to swim away from the shoreline and in the middle of the lake.

Amazing lake property
Stunningly beautiful lake home. Loved the location in a quiet bay yet close to all of the action and chain of lakes. Fishing was fabulous. Greatly enjoyed the paddle boards and paddle boat provided, and our boys looked forward to the fire pit at night. We had a wonderful time boating to restaurants in the area and exploring the other lakes. The sandbars were so fun! Thank you for the opportunity to stay at your lake home.

MEA Getaway on Rush Lake
We had a wonderful time at this property. The colors over MEA were fabulous. The property is pristine, newly renovated. The owners were very quick and nice in responding to any question. The check-in process easy. Each morning we woke up to a view you dream about. A cup of coffee, sitting up the front porch. Great area for a long walk right out the front door. Our kids enjoyed the basement 4 bunk beds, parents enjoyed conversions upstairs while they played downstairs. Highly recommend to other families. I enjoyed the fresh new scandinavian look of the home. Of all the VRBO properties in Crosslake area this one was the best up to date look and ready to book.
