Onsen-inn with shared family baths. Close to the Hachimantai ski resorts (couple of min of drive) and Mount Iwate. Very friendly and helpful owner, who helped us purchase discounted skiing passes for Appi Kogen for the next day! Has all essential facilities and comfortable rooms.
Nothing to dislike in particular.

We visited with our two small children. The owner rearranged for another day after we couldn’t take the train due to heavy rains. He also was very kind by taking us to some grocery stores for getting food for that extra day, and also drove us to a place where our children could play.
We had a very pleasant stay!
The bus stop is just outside but check the timetables since the busses are not very frequent

・八幡平周遊に便利な場所で、部屋内や共用のトイレ・風呂などきれいに清掃が行き届いている印象。
宿のオーナーは気さくな方で、楽しくおしゃべりできました。
・近くの温泉から引湯しているので、ゆっくり温泉に浸かれる。
・温泉がありながら宿泊費はリーズナブル

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice toasty and warm roam and the Onsen is amazing after a day riding!
It would be nice to have a toaster or oven in the kitchen area, but not a deal breaker.
