Belleza!

La habitación es muy linda y está equipada con cocina, olla arrocera, micro, aire acondicionado que para Guayaquil es maravilloso. La ubicación es muy buena si se quiere recorrer el centro. El hospedaje es perfecto para pasar vacaciones tranquilas.

Locația este exact în centru, apartamentul a fost curat, bun raport calitate preț. Fiul proprietarului care vorbește perfect limba engleza este un băiat excepțional, a pierdut o ora din timpul lui sa ne rezolve o situație personala. Recomandam aceasta cazare din Guayaquil, la 3 minute de Iguana Park.

Great location and decent value for the money

Great location, very central, just a few minutes walk from downtown main attractions(Parque Seminario, Marcado Central, Bahia, Malecon 2000, Mercado del Rio). Accommodation equipped with kitchen, fridge, large TV with Netflix subscription included, air conditioning, shower with hot water, towels and even saop and shampoo! Staff very friendly and helpful, one gentleman even arranged a cab to pick me up on the day of my departure. Sadly the driver didn't show up, but I can't blame the receptionist for this!!!

Maintenance of the place could have been better, the fridge was not clean and the phone number provided with the booking turned out to be wrong, making impossible to call them when needed. I eventually got their phone number, but only when I had already checked in.

Unbelievable that such a lousy place has a 9.0 score based on 374+ reviews

Almost nothing. Location is good, though the streets around the hotel are quite ugly, noisy, and look not very safe. Staff was relatively kind.

I have a long list. For starters, we arrived around 5pm and the room was not ready. The room was not very clean, especially the bathroom. The room is quite ugly and crampped, more that it lookmsin the ad photos. I chose this place because it's an entire apartment and the ad says it includes a washing machine, which is a BIG LIE. The owner gave us a silly excuse that it is very difficult to change that information in Booking. Although the apartment has a kitchenette, it is very poorly equipped, so much that we had to borrow two mugs from the apartment next door. We found only two miserable glass cups. No sink towels provided to clean around, not even a butter knife to prepare breakfast next day, etc. The worst thing, the excessive noise around. The streets around the hotel are ugly, look unsafe, with heavy traffic from buses in front. The hotel clerk lives next door and they run like a house-restaurant, people comes in and out at all times making too much noise. We even had to stand the noise from a blender at 11+ at night. Seriously, I would not recommend this place to anyone, there are far better options around and even cheaper. Don't get fool because it is an entire apartment, better get a regular hotel room with professional hotel service.

good safe place to stay on a budget

good value for what you pay. the host is very considerate and polite explains how everything works. overall a good place to stay for 1-2 nights !

a little like hoe I imagine prison with those very heavy doors and the bright light and no Window the kitchen is very very basic but good enough for pasta and breakfast the kitchen utilities were dirty

Superb

The location is good which is walking disrance to the historical and beautiful buildings in Guayaquil. The host will help you with everything you need and goes extra miles all the time. It is really spacious & clean, and you have your own kitchen (with all kitchenware and amenities) and private bathroom :)

Perhaps only small problem with the hot shower water pressure. But it’s not a serious big deal, manageable.

Good and cheap choice for a quick stop in Guayaquil

The apartment is located very close to the city centre, a few blocks away from the Malecón promenade. There are plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. The location is relatively easy to find. It is spacious and has the basic equipment for preparing a meal. The price is very good and the owner was polite and helpful.

More attention should be put to the cleanliness of the apartment

Where to start? We really liked how the owner of the place and his partner were sooooooo kind. Really. Since our arrival they walked us through, they showed us the place, gave us directions to move around the city (which in my opinion, after certain hour is not safe), they taught us how to use the microwave (nice touch there) and even how to open the main door. The room is cozy, it has a very comfy bed, it's clean, you have a fridge, a stove, cutlery, a dining table you can wash your mugs, cups, etc... Internet is really fast and you have a tv with free Netflix.

I feel really sorry about my review, however, this location as I mentioned is not the best, it's in downtown's heart, there is hundreds and hundreds of retail shops, small cafes, lot of noise, loud music everywhere since early hours. There is a main street in front hence lot of traffic, big buses passing by too... it's just pure chaos. You'd say "okay, I can just deal with it as I may leave the place early and go tourist", sure you can! Just be ready for the afternoon/evening... Seems like the building has some other rooms were permanent residents live (I may say) and every night there is this loud music, loud laughter, loud singing that just drove us nuts!! I felt bad that for the three nights I stayed I had to text the owner to help us with the situation. As I said, it's too bad because the owner is such a cool guy! Really! He is like a dad looking after you. And I got to be honest, I wouldn't want other tourist to have this experience. Fellow travelers, if you have checked the area on Google Maps and you don't mind AT ALL loud noises, this is your place however if you want some quiet and relaxing time look for another place.

Great stay in central Guayaquil.

Great stay in Guayaquil, close to supermarkets and the iguana park and walkable to the riverfront. Really clean, hot showers and good kitchen facilities. Staff are really friendly and helpful and even stored our bags safely whilst we were in the Galapagos. would highly recommend.

Efficiency apartment in the noisy and chaotic heart of the city with a great host.

The host was great. He gave us excellent advice for exploring and what to see. He was very responsive to all my questions and communications.

We were not prepared for the place. We thought it was a hotel and in reality it is several one-room efficiency apartments above the stores in the center of town in the 100% commercial district. The quiet choice in the back is a room with no windows except one above the stove to an airshaft. So we chose the front room which had a window that was onto one of the busiest streets in town. It was filled with traffic and noise, honking and shouting. The window did not seal out any of the sound. If you are looking for a quiet retreat this is not it. However, if you want to be in the noisy, chaotic, dirty, but vibrant and real part of town, then you will be satisfied.

-Private studio for a fair price -AC -Near stores, shops, tourist areas -TV with Netflix -Wifi was good -Hot water for the shower

-Very noisy during the day, area with a lot of movement and trafic -Kitchen could have a bit more tools and ustensiles -bathroom is small and no air circulation

The hosts were really nice with me! I got to the bus terminal at 5am and they were able to give me a room at that time. They also helped me with my luggage and the uber when I left the place. Its very central, you can walk to the iguana park and malecon. And it's was very clean
