Cute wooden bungalows in a big garden. There's a super cool bar here, MUST see, even if you're not staying here. It was a hornbill nesting in a tree in the garden right outside my room, busy feeding it's little ones.
It's overpriced for what you're getting. The bar didn't have a restaurant anymore, and they didn't tell me that until after I was back from a long walk, and it's a very very long way to any proper food. There's no water between 9.30 am and 5 pm ish. There's a drum you can fill, but it wasn't filled when I checked in. When I filled it I discovered that the water from the tap is so dirty. Not useful for much. The water from the shower and the tap in the sink was good though. The bathroom floor was leaning the wrong way away from the drain, so it got flooded. There's a thing to scoop it away with though. On my 2nd day the bar was closed but they didn't tell me that up front. Luckily cold drinks are available from a shop not too far away. On my last day, I came back to no electricity! It was just something that had tripped and was fixed in no time, but only after I finally found some staff.

Nous avons tout aimé durant ces 4 jours dans cet établissement : les cabanons colorés dans le jardin, avec notre petite terrasse et notre hamac ; l’ambiance du bar, idéale pour prendre un café le matin et une bière le soir ; et notre hôte, une personne extraordinaire, souriant, gentil, toujours présent pour nous aider à passer un super séjour et avec qui nous avons passé de super moments.
Merci pour tout. C’est un endroit calme et tellement agréable. Nous avons déjà hâte de revenir !

The owners were fantastic, the facilities were excellent, and the overall stay was very enjoyable. They also made things especially convenient by offering bike rentals and arranging transportation to another island

The staff is friendly. It is quite close to the pier and the centre if you get a motorbike, which you can get from them. The place is immersed in nature and has a very relaxed vibe. The bar becomes alive at night if you want to meet people. The hammock is cool.
The cabins could use some extra cleaning. The sink wasn't working and there was no hot water. There's insects in the cabin but I guess that's normal considering it's in the middle of so much nature. I would've appreciated at least one change of bedsheets or someone to come and clean the room at least once during my 4-day stay. The mattress is quite hard.
