Casa Zaffiro was spacious, spotless, modern and in an excellent location right in the heart of Taormina. There are restaurants, bakeries, gelaterias and groceries just steps away, with easy access to buses and the cable car to the beach. Some reviewers mention street noise, which is understandable given the central location, but it did not bother us at all—we loved being where everything was happening.
Francesca was an exceptional host. She checked on our comfort regularly and thoughtfully provided extra towels, beach towels and even beach umbrellas. When our flight plans suddenly changed because of the Mount Etna disruption at Catania Airport, she even helped us rearrange our taxi late at night for a very early departure.
One note: the spotless second bedroom has a fan but no air conditioning, which may matter to guests who get very warm. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again!

En verdad me gustó todo y la dueña los primeros día fue muy servicial pero el último día fue un poco grosera porque era a las 10 el cheking y yo me pasé de trago y no estaba lista y la escuché hablando cosas fea de uno pero después todo bien ..

The apartment had everything we needed and more. The host Francesca was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond which made our stay all the more memorable. Any queries were answered quickly with helpful advice. The location was great, very central and easy to get to shops and restaurants. You really do feel like you are at the heart of Taormina.
We chose to stay somewhere central as it suited us. Unfortunately, and there is nothing the host could do about this but the location being off one of the busiest streets in Taormina can get noisy.
