One staff is so rude

Close to the train station

It has a nice old rustic interior in a very good way. The elevator is quite unique these days.

There is no AC so you should take that into consideration. There is a fan though and net on the window so you can keep the window open for the night if you want.

Totally NOT recommended for tourists. Indian men running the house.

Walking distance to many sights and train station. Not crowded.

1) ONLY two small toilets and 2 showers in a tiny space for both men and women. 2) Men running the kitchen like their territory and spying on me like I am going to steal something. 3) A/C in room going OFF a lot during night and mosquitos coming IN. 4) They charged me for commission fees when this charge is supposed to be between Booking.com and HEBBARS Heritage Home.

Clean facilities and good location.

A good location near to the CSMT train station and walking distance from fort and colaba areas. Clean with good washroom facilities, staff were very flexible with late checkin and early check out times.

Not quite as communal as we had hoped and quite a dark interior vibe, and it would be great to be able to get a bit more info on the area and recommendations, but in general we were happy.

Excellent Location, Comfortable, Homely Stay

The location was phenomenal. The property is very well maintained, toilets clean and the looks old world. We were a large group of extended family members, and this proved to be an ideal arrangement for us. Had a fun Mumbai trip due to proximity of this place with the site seeing places in South Mumbai. The property exceeded our expectations.

I love the 3 beds room. It's my favourite. I will recommend this hostel to all my international traveling friends. I love the balcony and the staff is quite chilled out!! I love the vibe of this place. The room can be hot in summers.

Cotton bedsheets and blankets are more preferable.

Its nearest almost to the churchgate, Main station as well and other areas.

There is no option to change the rooms if we stay for few days. Seems the staff wont help on this.

the location is the only positive thing about this place

really bad attitude of the staff and management. it is very clear that they didn't invest at all in the property. noisy as an Indian bus station and very non private (at the morning someone entered the dorms selling tea, very loudly, while some of the people were still asleep), ventilation does not do a good enough job and the place is full of mosquitoes. the "shared kitchen" is not that clean and is actually occupied by the workers of the place which give a very non welcoming atmosphere. the shared washroom is unpleasant, too many people sharing the same showers and toilet (also no toilet paper) and not a single private space for getting dressed. I would not go there even if it was the cheapest option in Mumbai (which is absolutely not the case).

The location is great. There is free drinking water. It is rather clean.

It's full of Mosquitoes and the Fan doesn't do much to cool you down. It's really hot in the nights. The towels cost extra and the WiFi always disconnects.

The location is perfect if you want to go sight seeing in Mumbai, really close to a lot of monuments. Also at night there isn't a lot of noise on the street wich is nice and there are a lot of shops around. The building is old but quite nice and the rooms are spacious and pretty well maintained.

The staff was really rude, not helpful at all. We checked out and asked if we could Take a quick shower before leaving (the washrooms were ocupied in the Morning) and they wanted to Charge us 500 rupies extra. Also the Washrooms were Not Clean at all.

Disappointing

the location was good

i had to pay extra for being in a room with ac. i had to pay extra for toilet paper. the sheets were very old and worn out. the toilet and shower confition was not good, wet floor which was making the hallway floor wet as well. i decided not to take s shower at all, because the door opens directly to the public hallway and there is no proper place to hang towel and clothes. i couldn’t even figure out how i could take a shower. the elevator was stopping to work at 10pm, so i was stressed the whole day if i could make it back on time. there is no place to hang out with other guests, which in by idea is an important part of a hostel.

We met great people and enjoyed our stay.

We played games and watched cricket with the other guests in a common room. The atmosphere was great. It's an expensive place to stay while on business in Mumbai, so the place is full of interesting Indian lawyers, business people, students. Only one other couple of non-Indians arrived the day we left.

The bathrooms were very clean. The shower worked, but in need of a bit of repair. Despite that, will recommend for the cleanliness and atmosphere.

Very good

The most important thing is the close proximity to all the government offices which includes The RBI, MobT , Railway Headquarters and High Court. Also I feel about this place is that its quite cheap seeing with the prime location within the City. The staff are very good and friendly and the facilities are also very good including the Pantry, the study room which can be very useful for work, and the last but not the least this place would be ideal for photogenic person who like to take as many photos as they like. Surely a recommended place. Thank You Hebbar Heritage Home.
