Binnie's Beachfront Bungalow is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage offering direct beach access to the warm sands of Indian Rocks Beach. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life as you watch the evening sunsets and listen to the breeze easing through the palm and papaya trees. KITCHEN -Refrigerator -Stove/Oven -Microwave -Coffee Maker (standard drip) -Toaster -Dishwasher -Dishes/Utensils -Cookware DINING -Dining table with seating for 4 -Breakfast Bar with seating for 2 -Dine Al Fresco on the deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico LIVING ROOM -Queen Size Sleeper Sofa -Flat Screen TV w/ Roku Streaming Capabilities -Ceiling Fan -Coastal Décor MASTER BEDROOM -Queen Size Bed -Flat Screen TV w/ Roku Streaming Capabilities -Closet -Adjoining Bathroom with Single Stall Shower FREE PARKING -1 Assigned Space -Trailers, U-Hauls, Boats, and RVs are NOT allowed to be parked on the property! A starter kit of 2 trash bags, 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, basic hand soap, and 1 roll of paper towels is supplied, but not replenished. CHECK-IN -Keyless Entry -Self Check-In Indian Rocks Beach has numerous restaurants, including Mexican, Italian, Steak, and Seafood. IRB also offers several parks and nature centers. Clearwater Beach with its nightlife and marina is about 7 minutes to the north. Johns Pass with its waterfront shopping is about 10 minutes to the south. Tampa with the international airport, Busch Gardens and the Florida Aquarium is about 30 minutes away. Disney is about 90 minutes away. Several MLB spring training facilities are also within a short drive.

The only bad thing about this place was the size of the shower otherwise it was great.

Weeds were allowed to grow across the front of house making it difficult to get into house without chiggers jumping all over. Had to take out my scissors to trim a path right in front of house. Sofa & pillows dirty. Sheets on bed were old & pilled, but found some newer sheets& changed them. Bed had bad mattress. A roach ran across floor…bought roach mobiles & placed 6 around. Rusted refrigerator, but fine inside. This place has so much potential!!! It is a shame that the owner is letting it go so badly. It needs refreshing and painting in many places. A really cute place, cozy environment, great view and enjoyed side poach while relaxing. We called and asked for someone to come & trim down the weeds that were even overflowing near the car space, but no one came to trim down the overgrowth. Sad that the picture advertised was not what we discovered and that should not be allowed!! We took pictures.

Bungalow was small but very clean. The refrigerator needs to be replaced or at least painted as our initial thought when we entered was that the place wasn’t clean. The linens were missing from the bed and a bag of old linens were by the door, turns out the staff thought we weren’t checking in until our checkout date but it was quickly resolved.
The shower - super super super tiny. If you want to be clean below the waist use the outdoor shower. Would help if the property owner / manager added a handheld shower head to help offset the size of the shower.
Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well stocked but we didn’t come to cook.
Proximity to the beach / water was the selling point for us! The water is only a few short steps from the dunes. The bungalow is only a few short steps over the the dunes to the sand. The sunsets were amazing. The beach was never crowded and there wasn’t a lot of activity or people going past our bungalow but we stayed there at the end of the season.
Overall we loved the place and would love to stay again if the shower situation is ever resolved.

First and foremost, you cannot beat the location of this property for the price. My husband and two boys (9 and 12) stayed for a week. It's definitely small, but doable. You just have to be aware of what you're giving up to have the location. It definitely needs updates. The shower is pretty awful. It's maybe 2'x'2 and the shower head doesn't move so you have to essentially just face the corner. There were no sheets left for the pullout bed and the mattress for the pullout was COVERED in dog hair. They did come the next day and give us sheets, but we ended up just buying a cheap air mattress because we were too grossed out. The dishes are left to the renters to clean and the few we attempted to use were not cleaned, so we didn't use those for our stay. The mattress in the main bedroom was also terrible. Those would be my main complaints. But, we also knew that this house wouldn't be perfect and being 30 steps from the beach was well worth it. I can't say for sure if we'd come back to this rental, even if it was just the two of us. Primarily because of the quality of the sleeping conditions. I would say it's definitely worth a try with it being so close to the ocean, but just limit your expectations.

This little cottage was perfect for our stay. We loved it! Very quiet and relaxing. And so close to the beach! I should have counted the steps, but it couldn’t have been more than 20. We had a great blue heron visit us 2 days in a row and once more later in the week. As other reviews may have mentioned, the shower is small, but I expected that and thought it was absolutely fine.

This place has the perfect spot! If you want to walk out the door to the beach this is the place for you. Cozy place to stay. This is our second time here. The only thing is the laundry area could use some TLC.

This is a very cute cottage. Location was very nice. Quiet; off the "beaten path". Dog park right across the street with a recycling station and board walk for humans. There have been a number of cosmetic updates done which were very nice - ceiling fans, Roku with many stations. However, the cottage needs some major work.
The pictures on VRBO were evidently for staging purposes. So, don't expect that you will find the cottage like the pictures. Our experience included: dirty dishes in the cupboard, DEAD mouse inside the oven, no linens or blankets for the extremely uncomfortable fold-out bed (they were delivered after we asked for them late at night). On our second day, the stove/oven unit stopped working. A used unit was brought after 3 days and it did work with some quirks. We did have a few warm days, but upon opening the windows we found that none of them would stay up. One of the very helpful maintenance people gave us some sticks to put in the windows. Outdoors - very nice deck and porch. The lounge chairs are quite rusted - we used them gingerly. The plastic picnic table will not support 6 adults. The grill was very nice to have! The outdoor shower does work, but the handle for the foot part is completely broken off. No way to use it. The washer and dryer were very nice to have and worked well.
I will end with the info that the management company did monetarily compensate us for the days with no way to cook. I greatly appreciated that and their willingness to compensate us.
Overall, we had a nice stay, but will not be coming back to the cottage.

This property was just as shown and much more. Perfect for 2. Great location right on the Gulf of Mexico. Nicely stocked kitchen. The property manager took care of the small problem with the a/c immediately upon being notified. We will return again!!

Small oceanfront cottage. Walk to restaurants and ice cream shop. Outside deck has picnic table and lawn chairs plus you can rinse your feet or shower off before stepping inside. Place does show some wear and tear, but you can't beat the location!
