My friends and I always vacation together and we’re super picky about having a nice outdoor area. Honestly, this place couldn’t have been better! You get an amazing view of the coast and the village, and you can even see Mount Vesuvius in the distance. There’s plenty of space to catch some sun. Since it was late September, we had sun outside from sunrise around 8 AM until about 2 PM. The pool is on the colder side and too small for swimming laps (about 5x3 meters), but it’s perfect for cooling off and the jacuzzi function is great. Plus, there’s tons of room for sun loungers.
The house is built on a slope (the owner is an architect and remodeled it himself), so you’re up high and completely private from the street. It’s also super quiet with barely any traffic, even though it gets busy just a bit further north. We had the place all to ourselves in late September, which we loved. There’s only one other apartment anyway, so it would’ve been peaceful regardless. The hosts live downstairs, but they gave us total privacy. We barely noticed them, but whenever we crossed paths, we had a nice, quick chat.
Our hostess welcomed us warmly with great English and helped us out whenever we needed extra trash bags or toilet paper.
The absolute highlight was the double bedroom—the view of the coast is incredible and instantly put me in vacation mode. The beds were comfy. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, featuring a gas stove, microwave, sandwich maker, plenty of pots, plates, glasses, and even some basic oils and spices.
There’s a wild cat with her kittens living outside. They were pretty shy but always on the lookout for food. I managed to tame and pet them a bit, but they also stayed away when my friends, who are a bit scared of cats, shooed them off.
It’s an easy 20-minute walk down to the fishing village, where there’s a stone basin where people sunbathe and swim, plus a few restaurants (they are ok).
The apartment itself is of medium size but had everything we needed. There’s no real living room, just a two-seater couch, so on rainy days you’ll mostly find yourself cooking and hanging out around the dining table or chilling on the beds.
The room with the twin beds smelled a bit musty. But once you lay down with your head at the top of the bed, you barely notice it.

Położenie domu jest niesamowite! Widok z basenu, tarasu, okna wprawia o zachwyt, z którego trudno się otrząsnąć!
Basen wyjątkowo klimatyczny, czysty a woda cieplutka!
Tarasy i kuchnia zewnętrzna z grillem daje komfort i swobodę wypoczynku.
Wszystko na plus, nie znalazłam żadnych minusów i musiałabym się mocno postarać aby przy tych wszystkich pozytywnych czynnikach znaleźć chociażby jedną rzecz , która mogła by wpłynąć na moją najwyższą ocenę jeśli chodzi o dom, gospodarzy i udogodnienia.
Miejscowość mała a jej położenie utrudnia spacerowanie jednakże przy takim widoku jaki ma się z każdego miejsca w tym domu spacery wieczorne nie są potrzebne 😉

The small pool and the different terraces with a spectacular view from all of them.
The master bed is really comfortable.
The appartement had a bit of a mouldy smell especially the second bedroom and under the sink.
There are no windows in the second bedroom and no airconditioning neither. The beds in the second bedroom are not that comfortable.
The fridge and oven were somewhat dirty and all tabletops were in need of a wipe-over.
The bathroom was very small and there were nowhere to hang or lay your towel and clothes while showering.
Airconditioning in living room area worked fine and looked new - or at least not as old as the one in the master bedroom. The airconditioning in there didn't work untill hosts used half an hour working on it. You would think that they could afford buying a new one with that overprice you pay for the stay here.
There are 300m to the water in a straight line, but walking takes 30-40min. And thats just to the small habour.
Kitchen area is small and poorly equipped. Eg. only 4 regular glasses, no sharp knives and no cheese grator.
