About this condo rental
Situated in Dollar Point, this charming condo for $191 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. This newly remodeled three-bedroom one-and-a-half-bath Lake Forest vacation rental condo is near the entrance for ease of access. It is in close proximity to the meadow and children's pool. Upon entering you find yourself in the living room, there is a wood-burning fireplace and plenty of seating. The dining room and fully equipped kitchen are at the back of the unit. There is a semi-private deck off of the dining area where you can BBQ or just relax. There is a half bath located on this level as well. Upstairs in the first of two guest rooms, you will find a Full bed. In the second guest room, there are two Twin Beds. The Master bedroom features a King size bed. All of the bedrooms share a bathroom at the top of the stairs. There is Wifi In the unit. Your well, Mannered pet will be considered. Located on Lake Tahoe's North Shore, Lake Forest Glen Condominiums are set in a lovely meadow between the highway and the lake. It is an easy walk to Skylandia Park Beach, Bristlecone Beach and many others on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This development features two pools, sauna, hot tub(for year-round use), tennis courts, pickleball and a children's play area. (Amenities availability unknown for 2021). Each unit has two reserved parking spots and there is plenty of extra parking in two overflow parking lots located conveniently on the property. The complex is close to Tahoe City, ski areas including Alpine Meadows, Squaw Valley USA, Northstar and Homewood Mountain, shopping and fine dining. The Coast Guard boat launch is just around the corner for our summer guests. Plus there is convenient access to great biking and walking trails, both on and off-road. In the winter, drive up the street to the Tahoe Cross Country XC Center. Easy short drive to Tahoe City with great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans. STR #5377 MAX OCCUPANCY: 6 MAX VEHICLES: 2

Lake Forest Glen is an older complex but this unit is a gem. It is updated as pictured. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Durable flooring. You can walk or ride bikes to the Lake. Close to Tahoe city. A few lamps wouldn’t work but overall great stay.

Horrible. We were not told that painters would be power washing, scraping and painting 4 out of the 7 days starting at 8AM. Windows needed to be closed, workers peering in. When discussing it with mgmt. the gist was "Sorry-stuff happens-suck it up" and then no communication there after. At no time was I nasty or rude to them about all this. The HOA said they had been notified of the work beforehand. And then there is the low broadband internet. Don't expect you or your kids to stream anything at the end of the day or read a digital newspaper in the morning. The area and condo development is worth staying at just find another unit with 5G internet and a more responsive mgmt. company.

The place was very conveniently located close to the lake and to Palisades. My adult children and I went skiing over Memorial Day weekend and did some hiking at near by state parks.
My only complaint and reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5, it was not stocked very well.
No cooler, and no ice for that matter, no coffee, most place provide such things.

The condo is in a good quiet location and is a short 4-5 minute walk to the lake/beach. The condo is clean but it is very dated. It can use new flooring, paint, cabinets, bathroom vanities etc. The beaches nearby are not as nice as others such as Meeks Bay and others on the south shore but Tahoe City has a nice quiet and small town feel. The property mgmt company is very responsive to emails and when the BBQ ran out of propane they quickly got us a new propane tank. We had a great time and the complex has a lot of amenities, such as 2 pools, 1 spa, tennis courts and a playground.

Great North Tahoe Option
The 4 of us had a great stay over Thanksgiving weekend, place was accurately described. Kitchen has great cookware and utensils, and more than enough space for the 4 of us. Fireplace is great and the location can't be beat for anything on the north side.
Parking can be tricky especially with other people in the area parking in your spots but it all worked out.

I highly recommend them, and plan to keep using them next year!

I enjoyed staying at the Lake Forest Glen Condos. I used to frequent this location as a regular vacation spot as a child. There were a couple of problems with the condo we stayed at, ex. the couches were broken in some areas and they were very "used" and dated; also the upstairs shower would leak through the downstairs bathroom fan (which looked as if there was some severe water damage happening in the ceiling). All in all the location and cleanliness of the condo was great and I will definitely book the Lake Forest Glen Condos again for our next summer stay in Tahoe.

We tried for hours to get internet access to work. Three different computers, three different people. We were able to get connectivity to the modem, but to connect to the internet required an ATT Username and Password. When we requested this information from the property manager, we were told to reset the modem. Very frustrating to a) waste so much vacation time on what should be a very simple procedure, and b) have to go to the local coffee shop to keep connected to the world. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

A couple of issues: The code to the key box was incorrect. In the written material sent to me the code to the key box was CAT. This did not work after several times. Having stayed in other condos in this complex I knew the other code "NEW." So I tried "NEW" and it worked. Please send out the correct information. Second, it would be great if there was more then one key to the place as we had people coming and going at different times.
Overall, a very peaceful place to stay. The back deck is a wonderful place to relax and read and enjoy the beautiful fresh air. Being close to the beach is also wonderful.
